  • Publication number: 20120232936
Abstract: Embodiments of methods and systems for providing a payer with a platform for reference pricing of health care deliverables are disclosed. One method includes identifying a set of one or more health care deliverables to which reference pricing is to be applied, and setting a reference price for each health care deliverable of the set. For this embodiment, setting the reference price includes providing the payer with analysis of negotiated rates for the health care deliverable across at least one of geographies, demographics, and centers of excellence, and allowing the payer to set the reference price for each health care deliverable based on the provided analysis. The method further includes receiving a health care deliverable request from a user who is covered by the payer, retrieving the set reference price corresponding to the health care deliverable request, and providing the set reference price or out-of-pocket cost to the user.

  • Publication number: 20030212542
Abstract: A client computer program designed to run in operating systems with various primary character sets is provided. The client computer program further allows the user to choose a preferred destination for translated documents. For example, the translation can be appended to the original document, written into a new document, sent to the clipboard, or turned out to any other supported destination according to the specifications of the user. In addition, the client computer program provides a translation job queue window that lists documents awaiting analysis and transmission for translation. Through the translation job queue window, the user can dynamically add to and delete from the translation job queue, as well as suspend or reorder jobs, and open completed files directly from the list. Furthermore, the user can choose to display either the requested translation alone or the requested translation together with the untranslated email message in the same window.

  • Publication number: 20030212962
Abstract: A system and method for machine translation are provided by a client computer program executable on the user's computer and an ASP-based service that performs translations on one or more servers on a subscription basis. The client computer program interfaces with word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, or other software to allow direct translation of structured documents. When the translation request is initiated, the document is parsed to separate the text from the document's structural information, and the text to translate is transmitted across a distributed computer network to a server where the translation occurs. The translation result is returned across the distributed computer network to the client computer program. The client computer program then restores the rich structure of the original document to the translated result, as desired by the user.

  • Publication number: 20030212605
Abstract: A system and method for machine translation are provided by a downloadable free client computer program executable by the user's computer and a machine translation service, executable by remote servers located across a distributed computer network (e.g. the Internet), that is accessed on a subscription fee basis. In this way, the machine translation service provider is able to differentiate users and price and sell services accordingly.

  • Publication number: 20010029455
Abstract: A method for electronically translating text provides an electronic language translator. Source language text is received as an input to the electronic language translator. The source language text is translated at the electronic language translator at the time of submission into one or more target language texts. A user is then provided with an option of viewing one or more of the target language texts with or without the source language texts.
