    Abstract: In various embodiments, systems and methods for design-aware replacement font suggestions are provided. In some embodiments, a substitute font-suggestion algorithm holistically considers how the original string of text from the original layout appears when re-rendered in a same-sized text frame using a potential replacement font. In some embodiments, the substitute font-suggestion algorithm generates a first image of a text frame including the text string using the first font and generates a plurality of second images of the text string using candidate replacement fonts. A ranking of the candidate replacement fonts is generated based on computing a score for each of the individual second images that represents similarity between the first image and the individual second images. Based on the assessed similarities, a ranked listing of substitute font suggestions is displayed.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may perform first measurements associated with secondary component carriers (SCCs) for downlink and perform second measurements associated with beams. The UE may select a downlink SCC in frequency range 2 (FR2) as a first anchor CC with a primary component carrier (PCC) from frequency range 1 (FR1), from the SCCs for downlink, based on the first measurements, in combination with a downlink beam based on the second measurements. The UE may perform third measurements associated with SCCs for uplink and perform fourth measurements associated with the beams. The UE may select an uplink SCC in FR2 as a second anchor CC with the PCC from FR1, from the SCCs for uplink, based on the third measurements, in combination with an uplink beam based on the fourth measurements. A user equipment (UE) may obtain per-beam, per-component carrier measurements for unique combinations of beams and component carriers supported by the UE. The UE may select a first beam that has a highest per-beam, per-component carrier measurement across all component carriers. In addition, the UE may determine a set of candidate beams based on the measurements. For example, beams included in the set of candidate beams may have per-beam, per-component carrier measurements within some defined value of the measurements corresponding to the first beam. The UE may select an active beam from the set of candidate beams based on an average per-beam, per-component carrier measurement or a difference between maximum and minimum per-beam, per-component carrier measurements of each candidate beam across all component carriers.
