Abstract: Software-defined fail-safe power draw control is provided for rack power distribution units (PDUs). A PDU power manager can be used to map devices to a PDU and its sockets. The PDU power manager can also identify the power rating of the PDU and its sockets. With this information, the PDU power manager can generate and apply priority-based and dynamic power caps to the devices connected to the PDU. In this way, the PDU power manager can ensure that the power ratings of the PDU and of each of its sockets are not exceeded while ensuring that power delivery is prioritized based on the workloads that the devices may experience.

Abstract: In one or more embodiments, one or more systems, one or more methods, and/or one or more processes may determine first thermal attribute values associated with multiple information handling systems (IHSs) with respect to a period of time as the IHSs execute a first workload; determine multiple variance ranges respectively associated with the first thermal attributes; periodically determine second thermal attribute values associated with the IHSs as the IHSs execute a second workload; determine that a thermal attribute value of the second thermal attribute values exceeds a respective variance range of the variance ranges as a first information handling system (IHS) of the IHSs executes the second workload; generate an alert based at least on the thermal attribute value exceeding the respective variance range; and in response to the alert, transfer at least a portion of the second workload from the first IHS to a second IHS of the IHSs.

Abstract: An information handling system includes a console bid manager that may intercept an event from a managed node, transmit notification to eligible management consoles for bids on the event, process the bids to determine one or more interrelated actions in response to the event, and coordinate performance of the one or more interrelated actions in handling the event. The performance of the one or more interrelated actions may be delegated to the eligible management consoles to resolve the event from the managed node.

Abstract: A cooling-power-consumption-based workload allocation system includes a workload allocation system coupled to at least one client device and a plurality of server devices. The workload allocation system receives a first workload request that identifies a first workload from the at least one client device, and determines a first workload priority of the first workload relative to a second workload priority of each second workload being performed by the plurality of server devices. Based on the first workload priority of the first workload relative to the second workload priority of each second workload and a cooling-power-utilization-efficiency ranking of each of the plurality of server devices, the workload allocation system identifies a first server device included in the plurality of server devices for performing the first workload, and causes the first server device to perform the first workload.

Abstract: In one or more embodiments, one or more systems, one or more methods, and/or one or more processes may: receive, via a network, multiple discovery messages respectively from multiple information handling systems (IHSs); receive, via the network, a first message associated with a first event from a first information handling system of the multiple IHSs; determine, based at least on the first message, that none of multiple rules is associated with the first event; in response to determining that none of the multiple rules is associated with the first event, provide a second message associated with the first event to a back end information handling system (IHS); receive, from the back end IHS, data indicating how to handle the first event; add, to the multiple rules, a rule based at least on the data indicating how to handle the first event; and provide the rule to the multiple IHSs.

Abstract: A method includes receiving a host operation request sent without a first credential that is associated with a first user, wherein the host operation request by a second user includes a second user credential, the second user is an administrator of a systems management application, and the first user has a privilege to perform the host operation request. The method also sends the host operation request to a host operating system agent to generate an authentication token, the host operation request includes a digital certificate associated with the management controller, and the authentication token based on the first user credential of the first user. The method may also receive the authentication token generated by the host operating system agent, and send a response to the host operation request of the second user, wherein the response includes the authentication token.
