Abstract: An optical device for reducing glare which can be attached to ordinary eyeglasses or adapted to be worn as a pair of glare-reducing eyeglasses. The device includes lenses which have both transparent and translucent areas. The lenses are independently adjustable for individualizing the position of the lenses and thereby individualizing the glare-reducing capacity of the device. During operation, the lenses can be positioned such that the wearers' pupils are in alignment with the transparent area.
