  • Publication number: 20230178234
Abstract: A method for tracking injection site information includes displaying, on a user interface, a plurality of injection zones, each of the plurality of injection zones representing a segment of the body suitable for medication injection and including a graphical indicator indicating a period of time since a most recent previous injection in the injection zone. The method also includes receiving, via the user interface, injection information relating to a new injection in a particular injection zone. The method also includes updating a graphical indicator of the particular injection zone on the user interface to indicate a new date and time of injection to the particular injection zone.

  • Publication number: 20230008055
Abstract: An integrated disease management system provides patients with simple, quick, and readily available counseling regarding a healthy diabetic lifestyle. The system can include an interactive engine with predictive analytics and machine learning to provide a customized experience for a user. The system can be configured to transmit data to a remote server to perform analysis of received data (e.g., disease management data), to provide feedback to the user (e.g., customized feedback with curated content based on a user's data and interface interactions) and send all or a portion of the data and/or curated content to another user device or remote health management access point (e.g., as cloud storage) where the information can be accessed by healthcare stakeholder.

  • Patent number: 11315674
Abstract: Improved systems and methods for medicine delivery, and in particular, improved insulin pen needles and related devices are provided. Smart injection devices record and transfer data including medicine level, delivered dose, dose confirmation, and dose time and date. Additional data captured may include glucose concentration, insulin level, carbohydrates ingested, stress level, exercise, blood pressure, and glucose high and low excursion events. Various means of data collection and analysis are provided and systems can identify and flag patients who require intervention. Smart sleeves and add sensing capability to standard insulin pens. Pen needles are provided with sensing capability to confirm and measure doses delivered by insulin pen. A two-part pen cap include a primary sleeve that connects to the insulin pen and an end cap that provides for capturing the time of dose delivery, and monitoring the hold time for a dose delivery after plunger movement.

  • Publication number: 20200027535
Abstract: A system for displaying disease management goals to a patient includes a user database comprising measured patient disease management data or user-derived patient disease management data, a content database comprising content items related to recommended lifestyle choices and protocols for disease management, and an interactive user interface. The system also includes a memory having instructions that when run on a processor will perform a method comprising determining a patient goal related to improving disease management based on the user information and the stored protocols for disease management and displaying the patient goal to the user on the interactive user interface, and selecting one or more content items from the content database based on at least the determined patient goal and the user information and displaying the selected one or more content items to the user on the interactive user interface.
