    Abstract: An apparatus for supervising the operation of a pneumatic safety system of an industrial door opening/closing mechanism or the like. The apparatus includes a pressure pulse generator for generating a pneumatic pressure pulse, and a pneumatic pathway for directing the pressure pulse to the pressure switch of the door opening/closing mechanism. The integrity of the safety system is confirmed if the pressure switch is moved in response to the pressure pulse.
