  • Publication number: 20250164129
Abstract: An air purification device is provided. An example air purification device includes a first sensing device for sensing at least one component in an airflow along an airflow pathway. The first sensing device determines a sensor reading for the at least one component. The example air purification device also includes at least one filtration device. The at least one filtration device is positioned along the airflow pathway. The example air purification device further includes a blower. The blower is adjustable to control an amount of air flowing through the airflow pathway. A blower output of the blower is adjusted based on the sensor reading.

  • Patent number: 11478119
Abstract: A handheld vacuum cleaner (10) includes a main body (22), a handle (98), and a receptacle (150) having an inlet (154). The handheld vacuum cleaner also includes a motor assembly (114) positioned within the main body, a dirty air inlet (14) positioned at a front of the handheld vacuum cleaner, a cyclonic chamber (30) in fluid communication with the dirty air inlet and the motor assembly, and a battery (138) including a first side surface (142) and a second side surface (146) opposite the first side surface. The battery is configured to be selectively received within the receptacle through the inlet. When the battery is positioned within the receptacle, each of the first side surface and the second side surface are at least 25 percent exposed through apertures at the respective first and second lateral sides (58, 62) of the main body such that the first and second side surfaces are graspable by a user.

  • Publication number: 20190183303
Abstract: A handheld vacuum cleaner (10) includes a main body (22) with a handle (98) extending along a handle axis (110). The handheld vacuum cleaner (10) also includes a motor assembly (114) positioned within the main body (22). The handle axis (110) intersects the motor assembly (114). The handheld vacuum cleaner (10) also includes a dirty air inlet (14) positioned in the front of the handheld vacuum cleaner (10) and extending along an inlet axis (46). In addition, the handheld vacuum cleaner (10) includes a cyclonic chamber (30) in fluid communication with the dirty air inlet (14) and the motor assembly (114). The cyclonic chamber (30) defines a separator axis (34). The inlet axis (46) and the separator axis (34) intersect to form an acute angle (214) extending between the dirty air inlet (14) and the cyclonic chamber (30). The inlet axis (46) and the handle axis(110) intersect to form an obtuse angle (250) extending between the dirty air inlet (14) and the handle (98).
