  • Publication number: 20160050973
Abstract: A method of assembling a tubular simulated cigarette, the method comprising providing an elongate hollow housing having an inhaling end and a refill end; inserting an outlet valve tube, a dip tube and a support from the refill end so that the support supports the proximal end of the dip tube in the housing; inserting a refill valve into the refill end and fixing it in place to form a composition reservoir with the dip tube placing the reservoir in fluid communication with an outlet orifice when the outlet valve tube is open; inserting a valve element into a recess in the side of the housing so that the valve element is positioned to selectively close the outlet valve tube; inserting a breath operated valve actuation mechanism laterally into the recess; and applying a cover to the recess.

  • Publication number: 20160037826
Abstract: A pressurised refill canister containing a reservoir of composition including a propellant, and a non-metered refill outlet valve comprising a stem displaceable from a first position to a dispensing position against the action of a resilient member. The stem comprises a blind bore open at an outlet end and closed at the opposite end and a lateral bore in the side wall of the stem leading to the blind bore. The refill outlet valve further comprises an annular seal which surrounds the stem whereby, in the first position, the lateral bore is not in communication with the inside of the canister, and in the dispensing position, the lateral bore is arranged to move inside the canister with respect to the seal to open a flow path from the inside of the canister via the lateral bore and along the blind bore to the outlet end.

  • Publication number: 20150231108
Abstract: The present invention provides a cannabinoid inhaler, compositions, and methods for delivering a cannabinoid composition to a subject. The cannabinoid composition is delivered in the form of inhaled droplets of respirable size via pulmonary administration. The invention may be used in the treatment of a condition or disorder selected from the group consisting of neuropathic pain, cannabis addiction, nausea, motion sickness, arthritis, and neurodegenerative disease.

  • Publication number: 20150223517
Abstract: The present invention relates to processes for deriving components or products from tobacco biomass. In particular the invention relates to a process for deriving two or more components or products from a single tobacco biomass stock, wherein during the process, at least one component or product, for example nicotine, is extracted from a liquid phase and at least one component or product, for example an organic molecule such as an alcohol, is produced from a solid phase. The invention also relates to products, particularly plastics, synthesised from the organic molecules derived from the biomass stock.

  • Publication number: 20030014799
Abstract: The invention relates to a new, distinct and unique plant of rose scented geranium Pelargonium graveolens ‘Safal’ derived from the spontaneous half-sib seed progeny of largely sterile populations of the cultivar accession ‘Bipuli’, possessing the following combination of characteristics namely demonstrated vigour in the essential oil yield related traits in great measure and out yielded all the other accessions; the essential oil of the plant has 89% rhodinol content in which citronellol to geraniol ratio is approximately 1:1 and the contents of isomenthone, menthone, 10-epi-&ggr;-eudesmol, 6,9-guaiadiene, decanoic acid and isodecanoic acid were relatively lower than in the oils of accessions ‘Bipuli’ and/or ‘Hemanti’, this plant can be propagated vegetatively through stem cuttings and suitable for commercial cultivation in large scale.

  • Patent number: PP14400
Abstract: The invention relates to a new, distinct and unique plant of rose scented geranium Pelargonium graveolens ‘Safal’ derived from a rare seed-set in cultivar ‘Bipuli,’ apparently the result of hybridization between largely sterile populations of the cultivar accessions ‘Bipuli’ and ‘Hemanti’, possessing the following combination of characteristics namely demonstrated vigour in the essential oil yield related traits in great measure and out yielded all the other accessions; the essential oil of the plant has 89% rhodinol content in which citronellol to geraniol ratio is approximately 1:1 and the contents of isomenthone, menthone, 10-epi-&ggr;-eudesmol, 6,9-guaiadiene, decanoic acid and isodecanoic acid were relatively lower than in the oils of accessions ‘Bipuli’ and/or ‘Hemanti’, this plant can be propagated vegetatively through stem cuttings and suitable for commercial cultivation in large scale.
