  • Patent number: 6916097
Abstract: A light emitted from a semiconductor light emitting device array having a plurality of semiconductor light emitting devices arranged two-dimensionally on a substrate is converged by a condensing lens. In a light guide, a mirror surface is formed from a light incidence port to a light emission port along an inner wall surface. The semiconductor light emitting device array and the condensing lens are arranged in that order toward the light emission port inside the light incidence port of the light guide. A part of the inner wall surface of the light guide is narrowed down substantially along a condensing angle of the condensing lens. The light guide includes parallel inner wall surfaces facing each other, following a portion obtained by narrowing down a part of the inner wall surface, in order to emit the light (each color light) converged by the condensing lens while repeatedly reflecting the light on the mirror surface.

  • Patent number: 5218492
Abstract: A low-profile magnetic recording and/or reproducing apparatus is disclosed in which a drum is disposed substantially in front of a supply reel disc, a capstan and a pinch roller are disposed substantially in front of a take-up reel disc, a reel clutch mechanism extends from the capstan to a position located between the supply reel disc and the take-up reed disc, and a drive mechanism for driving a tape loading mechanism, a tape tension servo mechanism, a pinch roller displacement mechanism, etc. comprises a gear train disposed in a space extending arcuately along the drum and defined between the drum, supply reel disc, reel clutch mechanism and the capstan. Since the drive mechanism thus arranged does not overlap any of the components which are controlled in thickness by the width of a magnetic tape, a substantial reduction of the overall thickness of the apparatus is possible.

  • Patent number: 4837645
Abstract: A guide drum has recording or reproducing heads and a loading device has vertical poles and inclined poles for pulling out a tape from a tape cassette mounted on the recording/reproducing apparatus and for wrapping the tape around the guide drum. The loading device includes a pole driving mechanism for driving the poles and a toggle mechanism for causing a pinch roller to come into contact with a capstan so that the tape is interposed therebetween after the tape is wrapped around the guide drum. The toggle mechanism comprises a pinch roller cam driven in accordance with the movement of the pole driving mechanism, a pinch roller arm having the pinch roller and rotatably supported at one end portion and a link member coupled between the pinch roller cam and the pinch roller arm. With this arrangement, the pinch roller is directed to the capstan in response to the movement of the link member due to the movement of the pole driving mechanism.

  • Patent number: 4807064
Abstract: Disclosed is a magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus including a guide drum having at least one recording/reproducing head and a loading mechanism for pulling out a tape from a tape cassette mounted on the recording/reproducing apparatus and for wrapping the tape around the guide drum. The loading mechanism includes first and second loading devices each having a vertical rotatable pole and an inclined pole and the first and second loading devices are engaged with first and second guide grooves and are moved along the first and second guide grooves.

  • Patent number: 4642714
Abstract: A tape cassette loading and ejecting device comprises a cassette holder which accommodates and holds a tape cassette, a moving mechanism for moving the cassette holder between a cassette loading position and a cassette ejecting position, a motor for operating the moving mechanism, and a restricting mechanism for resiliently restricting the cassette holder in the cassette loading position and the cassette ejecting position. The restricting mechanism undergoes a resilient deformation in a final stage of the cassette loading operation and in a final stage of the cassette ejecting operation, and pushes the cassette holder against stoppers so that the cassette holder is positively maintained in the cassette loading position and the cassette ejecting position with a satisfactory precision.

  • Patent number: 4628383
Abstract: A tape cassette loading device comprises a cassette holder for accommodating and holding a tape cassette which is inserted therein, a guiding mechanism for guiding the cassette holder so that the cassette holder undergoes a predetermined movement, a driving mechanism which starts to operate when the tape cassette is inserted into the cassette holder, and a loading mechanism driven by the driving mechanism. The cassette holder is movable together with the inserted tape cassette between a cassette inserting position where the tape cassette is inserted and a predetermined loading position where a member of a recording and/or reproducing apparatus relatively enters within the tape cassette. This member is required to carry out recording and reproduction.
