  • Patent number: 6320885
Abstract: In an up-conversion laser using Tm, blue light having a wavelength of 450 nm and blue light having a wavelength of 480 nm are outputted simultaneously. A high output is enabled with a high efficiency, and a green up-conversion laser is also realized by a similar means. A hybrid fiber laser apparatus includes a light source which outputs light near a wavelength A, and comprises a means for reflecting light near the wavelength A, which is provided at another end of the optical fiber, thereby to form an optical resonator for the wavelength A. In this hybrid fiber laser apparatus, an up-conversion fiber is provided in the optical resonator for the wavelength A, and optical resonator structures for a wavelength B constructed by reflection means and for a wavelength B are respectively provided at two positions at both ends of the up-conversion fiber.

  • Patent number: 6313866
Abstract: A three-dimensional image display apparatus of the invention can be easily operated by the operator while a three-dimensional image created by the apparatus is observed by him. A depth information maximum value acquisition circuit acquires depth information contained in a first image signal. A parallax control circuit controls the parallax amount of a second image signal on the basis of depth information contained in the first and second image signals such that an image corresponding to the second image signal can be three-dimensionally displayed in front of an image corresponding to the first image signal. A three-dimensional image synthesizer synthesizes the first and second image signals which has been controlled by the parallax control circuit, on the basis of the parallax amount of each image signal, such that images correspond to that the first and second image signals in the three-dimensional display space.

  • Patent number: 5469308
Abstract: A cassette convey means can carry a plurality of cassettes, and can selectively convey and mount a cassette to a cassette driving section, or can externally feed the mounted cassette. A cassette selection/setting means outputs designation data for selecting and designating one of the cassettes. An operation mode input means outputs an operation signal including cassette subsidiary information such as a timer setting instruction or remaining amount display data for the cassette designated by the cassette selection setting means, or a tape driving instruction. A cassette information storage means stores information of each of the plurality of cassettes. A system controller checks conditions of pieces of input information from the above-mentioned means, selects an optimal cassette according to a purpose, and controls the cassette convey means to mount the selected cassette on the tape driving section.
