  • Patent number: 11064691
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods related to the suppression of invasive plant species by laying down a fabric over beds of such invasive plants. A watercraft with a fabric laying mechanism is provided with the mechanism automatically guiding the fabric from a fabric stockpile to a frame that spreads the fabric prior to the fabric being laid over the underwater plant bed. The watercraft may be provided with a device for dispensing material over the fabric that has been laid down to weigh down or hold down the fabric. Preferably, the fabric is biodegradable and the material is natural to the area. In one implementation, the fabric (e.g jute burlap) is coarsely woven from natural plant fibers.

  • Publication number: 20210145063
Abstract: Systems and methods related to the near elimination of second-hand smoke or vapour from the process of smoking or vaporizing tobacco or Cannabis are provided. A vaporizing article is provided whereby a user may exhale into the article to capture a high percentage of the smoke and contaminants before they are released back into the surroundings. The article also provides for filtering gaseous by-products when the article is in idle mode. A prepackaged container for use with a vaporizing article is also provided. The container may be configured so as to optimize the heat distribution and consumption of product within the container.

  • Patent number: 6215847
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a product irradiator comprising a loading-unloading area and an irradiation chamber, a continuous track having a level-changing portion, wherein the continuous track enters and exits the irradiation chamber from the loading-unloading area. The continuous track is comprised of at least one rail and of at least two levels to about 8 levels. An irradiation source, for example cobalt 60, and which is preferably horizontal in orientation, is located within the irradiation chamber. The product irradiator comprises a substantially horizontal carrier, which is engaged to the continuous track, and at least one drive mechanism capable of moving the carrier along the continuous track.
