  • Patent number: 7997830
Abstract: Free standing above-ground barrier wall 10 that includes a plurality of sheet-pile planks 16, and optionally one or more support elements 12 that are interconnected together using one or more interlocking connectors 22, 24. The sheet-pile plank 16 has a lower edge located proximate a top surface of the ground 14 upon which the free standing above-ground barrier wall 10 is erected in an upstanding, installed configuration. The sheet-pile plank 16 and the support element 12 each constitute sheet-pile components and in the upstanding, installed configuration, a lower portion of the sheet-pile plank 16 is ground engaged and a substantial entirety of the weight of the sheet-pile plank is supported at its engagement with the ground. The engagement may be merely abutting with the plank 16 resting atop the ground, or the lower edge of the plank 16 may be buried into the ground to a certain degree.

  • Publication number: 20110188948
Abstract: An arrangement of sheet-pile wall components includes two sheet-pile wall sections. The ends of the two sheet-pile wall sections are arranged. Their locks are hooked into two lock profiles of a connecting profile which is hooked via a third lock profile into the lock of an anchorage. The respective other ends of the sheet-pile wall sections are secured such that each of the two sheet-pile wall sections partially encloses a region. At least one of the lock profiles and the lock of the sheet-pile wall component of the anchorage in engagement therewith are configured in such a way that the lock profile of the connecting profile and the lock in engagement therewith are hooked one inside the other and grip around one another. As viewed in cross section, they bear on one another and are supported against one another by at least three points in at least one installed position.

  • Patent number: 7753623
Abstract: A connecting profile is disclosed for interconnecting three sheet-pile wall components. The connecting profile has a basic body from which three identical lock profiles project in predetermined coupling directions. Each lock profile comprises a thumb strip with a central web on which is formed a thumb which extends transversely to the longitudinal direction of the central web. A curved finger strip points in the direction of the thumb strip and forms a lock inner chamber and defines a mouth opening for the lock of the sheet-pile wall component that is to be hooked in. The mouth opening and the lock inner chamber are designed in such a way that the lock of the sheet-pile wall component that is to be hooked into the lock profile can be pivoted in the lock profile by a pivot angle of at least 15 degrees.

  • Publication number: 20070243027
Abstract: A rod-type connecting profiled element (10) for connecting sheet piles to carrier elements comprises a central strip (12) that separates two opposing connecting profiled elements (16, 18), each of which respectively forms a saw (24, 42). One connecting profiled element is embodied as a plug-in profiled element (16) for the carrier element and the other connecting profiled element is embodied as a receiving profiled element (18) for connecting a sheet pile. The central strip (12) comprises, on the side of the receiving profiled element (18), a central section (14) having a straight plane inner wall (30) to which a first short end section (32) is connected on one side, said short end section protruding past the central section (14) at an angle of approximately 90°, and being connected thereto by means of a transition section (36) having an inner wall with a cross-section that follows a quadrant.

  • Publication number: 20070147962
Abstract: Arrangement for construction a structural building, in particular a residential house as well as a commercially used building such as an office building or a warehouse, with a load-bearing structure (10) that is at least partially built of sheet piles and at least partially surrounds the rooms of the building to be used. The sheet piles (14) are anchored in the ground and are, at least in sections, connected to one another through engaging interlocks (16, 20, 30, 46, 50, 54) in order to form the load-bearing structure (10). The engaging interlocks (16, 20, 30, 46, 50, 54) that form the load-bearing structure (10) are dimensioned and designed such that the interlock components that engage in each other essentially have only punctiform contact in the cross-sectional view.
