  • Publication number: 20200380260
Abstract: Techniques disclosed for managing video captured by an imaging device. Methods disclosed capture a video in response to a capture command received at the imaging device. Following a video capture, techniques for classifying the captured video based on feature(s) extracted therefrom, for marking the captured video based on the classification, and for generating a media item from the captured video according to the marking are disclosed. Accordingly, the captured video may be classified as representing a static event, and, as a result, a media item of a still image may be generated. Otherwise, the captured video may be classified as representing a dynamic event, and, as a result, a media item of a video may be generated.

  • Publication number: 20200382725
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for editing captured media to overcome operational difficulties that may arise during capture operations. According to these techniques, content may be captured with a pair of cameras, a first camera having a wider field of view than a second camera. Object(s) may be detected from captured content from the wider field of view camera. The captured content may be processed from the wider field of view camera in a location of at least one detected object. Typically, operators may attempt to frame content using content from the narrower field of view camera. As a result, operators may be unaware that desired content is captured using a second, wider field of view camera. Results from the processed wider field of view data may be proposed to operators for review and, if desired, retention.

  • Patent number: 10610655
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for inserting an endoscope through an anatomical cavity to a target site. A speaker is positioned externally proximate to a patient and the endoscope is inserted into the anatomical cavity. A signal is received from at least one sensor positioned near the distal end of the endoscope. The signal is indicative of vibrations induced in internal cavity tissue by the externally positioned speaker. A first anatomical structure in contact with the distal end of the endoscope is identified based on the signal indicative of vibrations induced in the internal cavity tissue by the externally positioned speaker. As the distal end of the endoscope moves from the first anatomical structure into contact with other anatomical structures along a path to the target site, the received signal indicative of induced vibrations changes correspondingly and is used to guide the endoscope to the target site.

  • Publication number: 20200018771
Abstract: The invention provides a method for controlling contaminants in biopharmaceutical purification processes by using light scattering and UV absorbance to establish a determinant. The invention makes use of multi-angle light scattering (MALS) and UV as a continuous monitoring system to provide information about the elution peak fractions in real-time instead of conventional pooling methods that rely on a predetermined percent UV peak max value to initiate the pooling process; regardless of product quality.
