  • Publication number: 20100049729
Abstract: Method for transforming an input data structure to an output data structure according to requirements specified in a transformation template. The method includes translating an input data structure in an input container format to an output data structure in a different output container format and converting an input data structure to an output data structure where the structures have the same container format. During transformation, modifications to the structure and/or content of the input data structure may be made. The resulting output data structure is dynamically determined based on the structure and content of the input data structure. The input data structure is represented by a data structure tree, each node of the tree having an associated scope dictionary containing zero or more key-value pairs. The tree is traversed downwards as scope dictionaries are created and/or modified and traversed upwards as data of the output data structure tree is created.

  • Publication number: 20090322892
Abstract: The invention includes methods and apparatus for correcting shading non-uniformity in camera systems. A method includes capturing at least two sets of flatfield images from at least two sets of camera modules under first and second illuminant, respectively. Pixels for each image in the sets of flatfield images are then averaged to form first and second averaged flatfield images, respectively. The first averaged flatfield image is transformed using the second averaged flatfield image to create a transform image. The transform image is then saved in memory for calibrating the shading non-uniformity of the camera module.

  • Publication number: 20090040318
Abstract: An apparatus to facilitate image stabilization with user feedback is described. An embodiment of the apparatus includes an image sensor, a movement detector, and a digital processor. The image sensor acquires an image of a scene over an exposure period. The movement detector is coupled to the image sensor. The movement detector computes a movement measurement of the image sensor during the exposure period. The digital processor is coupled to the movement detector. The digital processor provides feedback to a user during the exposure period. The feedback is based on the movement measurement. Embodiments of the apparatus provide a simpler and less costly implementation for image stabilization.

  • Publication number: 20080006595
Abstract: A modular stand-alone shelving and display system comprising left and right vertical support members, each having front and rear corner posts connected by a welded grid of horizontal and vertical wires (“wires” are also referred to herein interchangeably as “rods”). A vertical display member and optionally one or more shelves formed of sheet metal are disposed between the vertical Support members, each shelf or panel including hook elements formed near the corners thereof for engaging and resting on horizontal wires of the grid. A lock in the form of a slotted tube inserted onto the vertical rod between the tops of the hooks and an adjacent horizontal rod prevents motion of the vertical display member which might result in rhombic distortion of the system. The lock obviates the prior art need for diagonal wires and turnbuckles to prevent rhombic sway of a modular shelving system.

  • Patent number: 7311183
Abstract: A clutch brake device comprising two concentric ring-shaped plate sections, threadably and adjustably secured together via four screws. The screws pass through the periphery of the exterior plate and extend into depressions on the interior plate. The interior plate has central tangs that engage keyway slots in an input shaft. The outer plate has tabs symmetrically positioned around its outer periphery, wherein the tabs can receive force from a rod, or the like, to move the outer plate relative to the inner plate to facilitate threaded relative adjustment. Each ring-shaped plate has thereon a frictional surface, wherein each frictional surface is dimensionally different from the other. An alternate embodiment comprises a camming member, having two slidably separable plates. The first plate rides up the ramp sections of a second plate, thereby causing the first plate to separate axially from the second plate and, thus, expand the clutch brake.

  • Publication number: 20070163227
Abstract: Thrust variability in a nozzle is achieved by constructing the nozzle in two parts, one of which is rotatable relative to the other. The nozzle includes a convergent section, a throat, and a divergent section, all of which are formed in the annular region between a centerbody and a shell. The rotation produces a variation in the cross-sectional area of the nozzle by bringing apertures in the two parts into and out of alignment and thereby partially or fully opening and closing the flow passage through the convergent section, throat, and divergent section.

  • Publication number: 20070023376
Abstract: A modular stand-alone shelving system comprising left and right vertical support members, each having front and rear corner posts connected by a welded grid of horizontal and vertical rods. A plurality of shelves formed of sheet metal are disposed between the vertical support members, each shelf including hook elements formed near the corners thereof for engaging and resting on horizontal rods of the grid. A back member extends between the vertical support members and also includes hook elements formed near the corners thereof for engaging and resting on horizontal rods in the grid. Upper corners of the back member include first and second hooks disposed in planes spaced apart by the thickness of the vertical rods. When installed, the hooks rest on horizontal rods and straddle a vertical rod, preventing motion of the back member and rhombic distortion. The back member prevents rhombic distortion in the X and Z directions.

  • Publication number: 20060242701
Abstract: A method and system for preventing, auditing and trending unauthorized traffic in a network system is provided. The unauthorized traffic is detected at the router level. An attacker transmits an attack vector to the network system. The attack vector is detected at the router and signatures are created for network system resources, wherein each signature represents the response of a network system resource to the attack vector. Signatures are created by learning how the attack is taking place within the network system. Network system resources corresponding to the signatures are then emulated, thereby protecting the network device.
