    Abstract: An outlet assembly for hybrid pressure and flow regulation includes a first orifice of a first size, a second orifice of a second size that is larger than the first size, and a mechanism that automatically moves the first orifice between a first position, a second position, and a third position. When the first orifice is in the first position, the flow of gas passes through the first orifice, which regulates a flow rate of the flow of gas through the second orifice. When the first orifice is in the second position, the flow of gas primarily bypasses the first orifice and flows through the second orifice with a first specific flow rate. When the first orifice is in the third position, the flow of gas primarily bypasses the first orifice and flows through the second orifice with a second specific flow rate.

The processor is configured to cause the pump to automatically dispense a substance from the reservoir to a mouth of an intended user via the mouthpiece in response to determining that: a unique biometric attribute of the intended user is detected by the biometric sensor based on biometric data from the biometric sensor; and a unique dentition of the intended user is positioned within the recess of the mouthpiece based on dentition data from the capacitive sensor array.

    Abstract: A system for medication delivery comprises a package containing a medication and a dosing device for delivering a dose of the medication, formulated as a multiparticulate, microspheres, a powder or a liquid. The package comprises a bottle, a bottle insert that covers a bottle opening and includes a dispense nozzle. The dispense nozzle is sealed using a valve that opens when the dosing device is engaged with the bottle. A closure covers the bottle insert and closes the bottle. The dosing device, similar to an oral syringe, comprises a barrel with a valve at a distal end of the barrel, a plunger and a dose control clip for attachment to the plunger. After the dosing device is connected to, the valve of the dispense nozzle, withdrawal of the plunger causes the dosing device to receive the dose of the medication, a user pushes the plunger which pushes the medication through the valve of the barrel and into a patient's mouth.

    Abstract: A labware inventory tracking and positioning device includes a plurality of labware carriers placed on the top surface of a deck. Each carrier has a permanent magnet therein or thereon. Below the deck, a cursor has a top part that is movable with respect to its bottom part. A permanent magnet, surrounded by a coil, is held in a compartment of the bottom part. Applying current through the coil in a first direction pushes up the cursor permanent magnet to push up the cursor top part into contact with the bottom of the deck, magnetically coupling one of the carrier magnets to the cursor magnet. Once so coupled, the carrier follows the X- and Y-direction movement of the cursor. Applying current in the opposite direction pulls the cursor permanent magnet down to decouple the cursor magnet from the carrier magnet.

    Abstract: Augmented reality enables an operator to visualize values of parameters of audio channels during audio mixing. A heads-up display worn by the operator, such as smart glasses, displays virtual graphical objects representing the parameters so that they appear within a three-dimensional space surrounding the operator and an audio mixing console. Parameter values are represented by the location, size, and other attributes of the virtual graphical objects. The operator adjusts the parameter values using physical and touch controls on the console and by manipulating the virtual objects with a body part such as a finger. Sensors mounted on the heads-up display and on other body parts capture position and movement of the operator in real time and send the captured data to a system running augmented reality control software. Graphical user interfaces of a media processing application controlled by the console and of plug-in modules may also be displayed on the heads-up display.
