  • Publication number: 20250187065
Abstract: A sand core for casting, a method for forming the sand core, and a casting method are provided. The sand core includes a sand core shell that features a designed variability in wall thickness thereof, and has one or more venting paths that open to an external space formed therein. The sand core further includes molding sand partially filled in the sand core shell. The molding sand comprises coated, non-catalyzed sand. The sand core is formed by 3-Dimensionally (3D) printing the sand core shell. During casting, the sand core is placed a sand core into a cavity in a mold and a molten metal is poured into the cavity. The molten metal solidifies around the sand core to form a solidified metal structure. The solidified metal structure is then removed from the mold and the sand core is separated from the solidified metal structure.

  • Patent number: 6531024
Abstract: A succession of prismatic labels are made on an in-line press by laminating an embossed metallic material web to one of a choice of conventional label stock webs. Within the same in-line press operation, various steps of printing and die cutting are performed on the laminated prismatic label stock web to produce the succession of prismatic labels.

  • Patent number: 4002776
Abstract: An electrostatographic imaging process comprising the steps of forming an electrostatic latent image on a surface and developing said image by contacting it with an electrostatographic developer material comprising particles, the particles including finely-divided toner material have a particle size of up to about 30 microns, a melting point of at least about 110.degree. F, a melt viscosity of less than about 2.5 .times. 10.sup..sup.-4 poise at temperatures up to about 450.degree. F, the toner material comprising a colorant, a thermoplastic resin consisting essentially of a vinyl polymer having a melting point of at least about 110.degree. F, and from about 5 percent to about 55 percent by weight, based on the weight of the vinyl polymer, of an arylsulfonamide formaldehyde adduct having a melting point between about 50.degree. F and about 250.degree. F, whereby at least a portion of the toner material is attracted to and held on the surface in conformance to the electrostatic latent image.
