  • Publication number: 20180276537
Abstract: A method and a system for implementing a mathematical algorithm in a neural architecture and transferring that neural architecture to an integrated circuit (IC) chip. The neural architecture has neurons that are capable of converting current to frequency, voltage to frequency, frequency to frequency and time to frequency. The neurons can have multi-sensor inputs (multiple synapses) for either scaling or inhibiting neuron outputs. The neural architecture-to-hardware conversion method is specifically tailored for neural architectures for image processing applications.

  • Patent number: 6731609
Abstract: A telephony system for conducting multimedia telephonic communications across a packet-based network is described between a caller system and an agent system through a software switch. The software switch receives from the caller system a packet representing a request to conduct a multimedia telephonic conference with an agent system. The switch exchanges packets with the caller system to establish a call with the caller system. The switch provides an application program interface to a telephony application program through which the telephony application program can control multimedia telephonic conferences between the caller and agent systems. The switch then processes the call according to the commands received through the application program interface from the telephony application program. In one embodiment, the application is an Automatic Call Distributor (ACD), which routes calls through the software switch.

  • Patent number: 4484303
Abstract: An improved programmable controller having the ability to use two different data bases while presenting to the outside world a uniform word size. The programmable controller includes pipeline processing and hardware solution of a user control program in a network node format. A memory management scheme is provided allowing for the direct addressability of one-half million words by utilization of a page register. The programmable controller can be incorporated into a network containing other programmable controllers. The programmable controller also incorporates a multi-task interrupt so that the processor can handle more than one job at any particular time. Input/output tasks are handled logically in the scan solving the user networks rather than being based upon a particular physical area of the controller memory.
