  • Publication number: 20070131795
Abstract: Provided are devices and methods for dispensing a multicomponent composition comprised of a mixture of a plurality of different fluid components. A diffuser surface is placed downstream from a plurality of inlets. An outlet extends through the diffuser surface. At least one inlet placed in fluid communication with a source of a pressurized carrier fluid, and each of a plurality of inlets is placed in fluid communication with a source of a different fluid component. Once the diffuser surface receives fluid components, each received fluid component is directed toward the outlet for mixing and dispensing therethrough by the pressurized carrier fluid from the carrier fluid inlet. Typically, the fluid components are maintained in a different flow path on the diffuser surface before mixing.

  • Patent number: 5590778
Abstract: A double-sterile package for critical-use medical apparatus includes an inner first container including an outer boundary wall impervious to microorganisms and being closed except for defining a hole. A patch of gas-permeable micro-porous sheet material is secured to the outer boundary wall spanning and closing the hole. The gas-permeable sheet material is sufficient to exclude environmental microorganisms from entering the inner first container. The first container is received into and nested within a conformal second container also having a boundary wall impervious to microorganisms and being closed except for defining a hole. This hole of the second container is also closed by a patch of the gas-permeable micro-porous sheet material, and the holes of the first and second containers are in gas-flow communication with one another. The medical apparatus within the nested containers is sterilized by evacuation of air and introduction of a sterilizing gas via the gas-permeable patches.

  • Patent number: 5088124
Abstract: A glove and glove form that has an approximately uniform profile that is thinner than conventional forms. The glove form also has a thinner profile adjacent the base of each digit and on the sides of the form adjacent the wrist. The glove has a flat front and back and a side portion connecting the front to the back. The side portion is contoured adjacent the base of the digits and on the sides of the glove adjacent the wrist.
