Abstract: An input/output (I/O) panel with one chassis that supports multiple baseboards. In an aspect, the I/O panel has an extension to mate with a server chassis U-seam. In an aspect, the I/O panel includes a fastener for fastening to a server chassis, and unfastened from a server chassis, without the use of a tool. In an aspect, the fastener is a tab that fastens to a server chassis spring latch. In an aspect, an I/O panel is provided that maximizes EMI containment. In an aspect, an I/O panel is provided that maximizes thermal evacuation.

Abstract: A flexible chassis for a computer system that is adapted to receive computer components of different sizes and configurations. The flexible chassis includes a printed circuit board (PCB) mounting plate that is adapted to receive baseboards of different sizes, a back panel that is adapted to receive different Input/Output (I/O) covers that accommodate the different placement of I/O plugs on different baseboards, a vertical bulkhead having a plurality of different mounting locations for a CPU fan and an I/O fan, and a relocatable PCB support rod assembly adapted to support memory and I/O cards which are coupled to different locations on the various baseboards.

Abstract: A hard disk drive carrier that is inexpensive to manufacture and suitable for use with hot plug connected hard disk drives. A composite ventilated bay secures the disk drive while an interlocking handle mechanism provides the carrying functionality for the hard disk drive carrier as well as the hardware for one-hand locking and unlocking of the carrier within a hard disk drive chassis.
