  • Patent number: 5713651
Abstract: A modular frame assembly for an equipment cabinet having a plurality of members releasably secured together is provided. A plurality of universal frame members are provided, each having a securing tab and an offset securing tab projecting therefrom. A countersunk bore is formed in each of the tabs and a plurality of fasteners are provided which are insertable into the bores to releasably secure the plurality of universal frame members together. This provides a modular frame assembly that allows disassembly of a single frame member by removing two of the fasteners at each corner. The third fastener remains in place and maintains the integrity of the remaining two frame members.

  • Patent number: 4882910
Abstract: A refrigeration and display assembly includes a display container with an open top, a refrigeration enclosure beneath and supporting the container, and an outer housing surrounding the enclosure and display container. A pair of openings formed in the display container floor are positioned for respective alignment with inlet and outlet openings of the refrigeration enclosure, when the container and enclosure are engaged. The floor and side walls of the container are constructed of pairs of panels fastened together. Grooves are formed in one of the panels of each pair, whereupon the joinder of the panels forms fluid channels for circulation of air between the container and enclosure. The housing surrounds and hides the refrigeration enclosure from view, while maintaining the display enclosure in a snug, nesting fashion.

  • Patent number: 4685304
Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for forming a monogrammed ice cube. The ice cube is formed by providing a die of conductive material with a shape which corresponds to the shape of a desired imprint to be formed in the cube. The die to conductively connected to a source of a coolant. With the die immersed in water, coolant is supplied to the die to cool it to a temperature below the freezing point of water. The water freezes around the die. The freezing of the water around the die is performed under conditions with the frozen water adjacent the die being clouded and the frozen water spaced from the die being clear. When the completed cube is formed, the clouded portion surrounding the imprint highlights the imprint when the cube is placed in a beverage.

  • Patent number: 4334648
Abstract: An air conditioning system including an air flow limiter and indicator comprising, in combination: a chamber (24) extending from an inlet (21) to an outlet (22) for flow therebetween of conditioned air at greater than ambient pressure; a damper (63) in the chamber actuable to variably restrict the flow; apparatus outside the chamber, including an inflatable member (66) having inlet (70) and venting (42) openings, for actuating the damper in accordance with the state of inflation of the member; condition-responsive apparatus, including a fluid amplifier (72) supplying fluid from the chamber to the inlet opening, for causing inflation and deflation of the inflatable member; apparatus including a vane (32) in the conduit for responding to the rate of flow of the fluid in the conduit; apparatus (41, 57) normally closing the venting opening; and apparatus (43, 45, 55) operable by the vane as the rate of flow exceeds a predetermined value for unclosing the venting opening, to enable deflation of the inflatable mean
