Abstract: A smart circuit breaker is configured for installation within a panel assembly. The smart circuit breaker includes a breaker device positioned between a power source and a subcircuit, the breaker device having a moveable contactor configured to change from an open state to a closed state, wherein in the closed state power flows from the power source to the subcircuit via a power line, and wherein in the open state power does not flow from the power source to the subcircuit. The smart circuit breaker further includes a power meter configured to measure a power characteristic of the subcircuit. The smart circuit breaker further includes a processing circuit configured to receive a power characteristic measurement from the power meter, the processing circuit having a communications interface configured to communicate power consumption data to an external device, the power consumption data based on the power characteristic.

  • Patent number: 9663366
Abstract: A reaction vessel for oxidation of ammonia to nitrogen monoxide in the presence of a catalyst is provided. The catalyst can become dislodged during the oxidation. The reaction vessel includes a reactor body having a top portion, a bottom portion, and a middle portion. The top and middle portions cooperate to define a cavity where the ammonia is catalytically oxidized to provide the nitrogen monoxide. The reaction vessel also includes an internal filter element. The internal filter element includes a filter cage that defines an interior volume and a filter medium disposed adjacent to the filter cage. The internal filter element collects the catalyst dislodged during the oxidation.

  • Publication number: 20150127560
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, or computer program product for providing a unified representation of all customer relationships with an entity. This representation focuses on customer products in arrears that are to be recovered. The invention presents an overarching view of all customer relationships to a representative. This allows the representative to make decision and take appropriate actions immediately based on the entire relationship with the customer when a customer communication is initiated. As such, the invention correlates all of the customer's relationships with a financial institution into one unified representation for a representative to review. The unified representation takes into consideration all of the customer's relationships as well as external factors on the communications and relationships. Thus providing a holistic customer service experience for a customer with accounts in arrears.

  • Patent number: 5606919
Abstract: An upright electrical power and telecommunication distribution having a plurality of upright posts disposed in horizontally spaced relationship, and horizontally-elongate rails extending between and rigidly joined to each adjacent pair of posts. The lower rail defines a channel for accommodating electrical power cabling, and the upper rail also has a channel for accommodating communication cabling. The posts define openings therein to enable the power and communication cables to pass through the post for communication with the rails which are joined thereto. The upper rail is open on the top and accommodates a removable cap to facilitate laying in of telecommunication cables, and one of the side walls of the upper rail has openings for accommodating boxes or plates mounting telecommunication connectors. The lower rail is open on the bottom to facilitate insertion of electrical power cabling, the bottom being closed by a removable cover.

  • Patent number: 4595041
Abstract: Portable apparatus for peeling logs has a powered draw knife mounted on a frame. The draw knife is swivably mounted on a cutter fork attached to a cutter rod, which is slidably mounted in a hydraulically or pneumatically powered cylinder. A cutter cradle attached to a slide bar on the frame allows an operator to optimally position the draw knife for each stroke. The frame is clamped to the log by a hydraulically or pneumatically powered clamp. The controls for operation of the draw knife are interlocked with the clamp controls for safety.

  • Patent number: 4474082
Abstract: A control system for a power shifted transmission includes an electrical signal processing system, incorporating a digital processor, which provides output signals to regulate operation of the directional clutch and the range clutches through a plurality of spool valves. A hydraulic stabilizer is connected to a common line supplying the directional clutch, to provide a predetermined amount of fluid with each change in direction, with the remainder of the fluid being provided through a forward-reverse modulating valve. A neutral bleed valve is connected to reduce the measured amount of fluid in the stabilizer when the clutch is being shifted from the neutral position, instead of a full directional change. To improve range shifts, the directional clutch is slipped while the range change is made, and the directional clutch is then re-applied. A horsepower indicator provides the vehicle operator with an instantaneous indication of the vehicle operating efficiency.
