  • Patent number: 11925465
Abstract: Uroflowmeters and methods for processing data generated therefrom are disclosed. In one aspect, the uroflowmeter is a handheld device. The uroflowmeter includes a handle, a flow chamber coupled to the handle, and a sensor associated with the flow chamber that detects a parameter of urine received in the flow chamber. The uroflowmeter may include both reusable and disposable components. As a uroflowmeter it can identify and record data corresponding to the rate of flow over the measured duration of a void of urine, but may also timestamp the voiding act and communicate the data to an external data collection center for additional analysis and incorporation into a comprehensive voiding report or voiding diary.

  • Publication number: 20240075569
Abstract: A system and method for transferring a part being machined by a machine from a first fixture to a second fixture so that an un-machined side of the part can be exposed for machining, where the first fixture is secured to a first actuator and the second fixture is secured to a second actuator. The method includes securing the part to the first fixture, operating the first actuator so that the part is able to be machined on sides of the part except a side of the part coupled to the first fixture, and machining the part while the part is secured to the first fixture. The method operates the first actuator and the second actuator so that the part secured to the first fixture is aligned with the second fixture, and secures the part to the second fixture and releases the part from the first fixture.

  • Publication number: 20240071183
Abstract: A payment processing method uses a credit push for completing a transaction at a terminal device. The process can include scanning an optical code at terminal device using a mobile device to determine creditor bank information. A debtor bank server receives the creditor bank information and provides a credit push request to a payment rail. The payment rail communicates a credit payment transaction request to a creditor bank sever. The creditor bank server identifies the terminal device and instructs completion of the transaction at the terminal device in an amount corresponding to the credit push request. The transaction is initiated at the terminal device. An authentication procedure for facilitating the transaction by communicating the creditor bank information is performed by the mobile device and not by the terminal device.

  • Patent number: 11881087
Abstract: A payment processing method uses a credit push for disbursing funds at ATM. The process can include scanning an optical code at an ATM using a mobile device to determine creditor bank information. A debtor bank server receives a funds disbursement request and provides a credit push request to a payment rail. The payment rail communicates a credit payment transaction request to a creditor bank sever. The creditor bank server identifies the ATM using an ATM identifier provided to the mobile device via the optical code. The ATM is instructed to disburse funds by the creditor bank server. The method includes using the mobile device, or other issuer domain, authentication procedures. The funds can be disbursed by the ATM without the ATM performing any authentication procedures.

  • Patent number: 11821597
Abstract: A linear luminaire includes a three-sided enclosure with a top that is at least translucent and a pair of depending sidewalls spaced apart by the top. The three-sided enclosure may be extruded from a plastic or, in some cases, co-extruded with two different materials so that the pair of sidewalls can be made of an opaque material. The three-sided enclosure may be open along a bottom aspect. An elongate rigid printed circuit board (PCB) carrying LED light engines is installed between the pair of sidewalls in slot structure defined on respective inner faces. The PCB may carry connecting structure staggered along the length of its underside. The PCB may also carry circuit components on its underside.

  • Publication number: 20230368090
Abstract: According to various aspects, systems and methods are provided for automatically matching recruiters to job openings. The system may train one or more models that determine a measure of compatibility between a recruiter and a job opening. The system may train the model(s) using stored records of activity tracked by the system. The measure of compatibility may be used to determine whether a recruiter is likely to place a candidate for a job opening. Some embodiments provide a system that can collect objective data about recruiters and hiring parties, and use the objective data to train the model(s).

  • Publication number: 20230329655
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for delivering images to a patient before and/or during a medical procedure in which a patient is translated on a table relative to a gantry. In various example embodiments, images are projected to the patient while preserving the projected field size during table motion, thereby potentially reducing patient anxiety by providing a more immersive patient viewing experience. In some embodiments, the projected field size is maintained by a display system that is secured to the table such that both a projector and a projection screen are fixed relative to the table, and relative to the patient, during translation of the table. In some example embodiments, a reduction in patient anxiety may be achieved by projecting images as virtual images that are perceived by the patient as residing at a depth that lies beyond the confined spatial region in which the patient resides.

  • Patent number: 11608928
Abstract: A one-piece shield for temporarily covering the upper inlet of a downspout. The shield includes a single sheet of resilient material, with a pair of tabs that cooperate with a slot in the sheet. The sheet is rolled up to create a tubular portion. One of the tabs is turned into the tubular portion to block the passage into the tubular portion, and the other tab cooperates with the slot to keep the device rolled up, so that the tubular portion blocks entry of debris into the downspout. The device is unrolled after use, and stored flat.

  • Patent number: 11601742
Abstract: The present disclosure provides communication systems and devices for use in noise environments, such as during magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). In some embodiments, a communication headrest is provided that consists of a headrest that supports a patients' head, an optional bone conduction microphone, and one or more vibration actuators. The headset makes contact with noise-isolating earplugs worn by the subject such that vibrations generated by the vibration actuators are transferred through the earplug, via acoustic conduction, to enable the patient to hear audio content while the earplugs provide passive noise protection by occluding the ear canal.
