Patent number: 11806572Abstract: A foot support assembly for an exercise machine may be configured for sing-hand operation (e.g., cinching or releasing of the foot strap). The foot support assembly may include a footplate coupled to the frame of the exercise machine and configured to support the user's foot during exercise and a strap coupled to the footplate and configured to resist separation of the user's foot from the footplate. The strap is operatively associated with a quick release ratchet mechanism, which is configured to be unlocked simply by pressing a lever of the ratchet to allow the ratchet strip to reverse, releasing the user's foot from the strap. The foot support assembly may be provided on each side of the seat rail of a rowing machine, which may alternatively or additionally include a multi-grip handle including a plurality of grip portions configured to position the user's hand at different orientations to one another.Type: GrantFiled: July 29, 2021Date of Patent: November 7, 2023Assignee: Nautilus, Inc.Inventors: Daniel C. Boyles, Mark R. Nestande, Jeffrey A. Gettle, Joshua S. Parah, Robert A. Hagen

Publication number: 20220328140Abstract: In some embodiments, the early feasibility assessment (EFA) system generates a set of quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) models using rule-based reasoning systems to efficiently assess the feasibility of therapeutic drug candidates. With each QSP model, the EFA system provides sets of parameters for the user to easily contrast and compare various scenarios to explore risk and uncertainty of developing the therapeutic drug candidate, while high-performance computing provides near real-time simulation of the scenarios. The EFA system performs 1-dimensional or 2-dimensional scans of parameters and output feasibility criteria including, for example, maximum inhibition, activation, and target engagement. The assessment results and key parameters values can be presented via a user interface of the EFA system which allows user interactions with, for example, dose-response and pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) plots.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 5, 2022Publication date: October 13, 2022Applicant: Applied BioMath, LLCInventors: Joshua Farley APGAR, John M. Patent number: 9765923Abstract: A mount for mounting an electronic display on a wall includes a latch whereby the display interface portion of the mount can be selectively engaged and disengaged from the wall interface portion. The latch provides a positive visual and/or audible indication of when the mount is fully engaged. The mount may include a wall interface adapted to be secured to a wall or similar structure, and a display interface adapted to be secured to an electronic display. The wall interface generally includes a plurality of pairs of angled slots, each pair of angled slots having a different angle than the other pairs. The slots are adapted to receive fasteners which secure the wall interface to the wall, as well as enable adjustment of the tilt of the bracket so as to ensure the bracket is level.Type: GrantFiled: October 9, 2014Date of Patent: September 19, 2017Assignee: Milestone AV Technologies LLCInventors: Joseph Skull, Robert Hagen, Ben Streiff

Patent number: 9257819Abstract: An electrical wire fishing system provides assistance in the pulling of cable through drop ceiling cavities. The system comprises a first component which is used at the entrance to the drop ceiling cavity and comprises a tube held in place by clamps. The first component utilizes a pair of spring-loaded cams which allow the cable to only travel in a single direction. Should the cable attempt to fall down, the cams will lock in place preventing such an action. A second component is used at the exit of the ceiling cavity and utilizes a pair of guideposts. These guideposts guide the cable out of the ceiling cavity and prevent it from becoming caught up on ceiling grid. With the system properly in place, cable can be pulled through a ceiling cavity by a single person.Type: GrantFiled: June 10, 2013Date of Patent: February 9, 2016Inventor: Robert Hagen

Publication number: 20130198345Abstract: A server-based hosted application used to transmit and manage multiple media across the Internet. Digital video recorders (DVRs) collect media (such as video with or without audio) and record it to a local disk. DVRs are located in sites or stores where they are attached to cameras, microphones and point-of-sale (POS), or other data collection devices. The DVR accesses the Internet through a typical “residential” broadband connection. A hybrid peer-to-peer network allows peers (a DVR and an Internet browser) to directly transmit and receive video and audio (and other information, such as POS data). A hosted infrastructure tracks the presence of DVRs. A server-based application exposes a presence database to users. Users find DVRs via an Internet interface. Viewers can then connect to the DVR and its corresponding media collection devices (such as cameras, microphones and POS devices) and control collection and use of media information directly.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 14, 2013Publication date: August 1, 2013Applicant: ENVYSION, INC.Inventors: Robert Hagens, Darren Paul Loher
