  • Publication number: 20150042071
Abstract: An apparatus is for a tool box and a vehicle having a hitch assembly. The apparatus includes a frame assembly and a powered-actuator assembly. The frame assembly is configured to be load bearing, and is also configured to facilitate secured connection with the hitch assembly of the vehicle. The powered-actuator assembly is configured to be powered by a power source, and is also configured to move the frame assembly relative to the hitch assembly of the vehicle in such a way as to facilitate secured connection between the frame assembly and the hitch assembly. The powered-actuator assembly is fixedly connected to the frame assembly. The frame assembly is configured to supportably receive the tool box. The frame assembly is selectively removable from the tool box.

  • Patent number: 4939102
Abstract: 36 We have discovered the III-V semiconductor layers with previously unattainably high effective hole concentrations can be produced by molecular growth processes (e.g. MBE) if an amphoteric dopant such as Be is used and if, during the growth of the highly doped III-V layer, the substrate is maintained at a temperature T.sub.g that is substantially lower than customarily used. For instance, a InGaAs layer with effective hole concentration 1.0.times.10.sup.20 cm.sup.-3 was grown at T.sub.g =450.degree. C., and a GaAs layer with effective hole concentration of 1.0.times.10.sup.20 cm.sup.-3 was grown at T.sub.g of 475.degree. C. The heavily doped III-V layers can be of device grade and can usefully be part of electronic devices such as high speed bipolar transistors.

  • Patent number: 4667905
Abstract: A minimum weight horizontal and vertical stabilizer (188) which a primary torque box is formed within the skins (202, 204) and extends transversely from the most forwardly spars (190, 212) to the most rearwardly spar (196) to occupy spaces between all of the spars (190, 212, 192, 194, 196).

  • Patent number: 4452657
Abstract: "I" beam or web structures of laminated composite material or sheets are being stiffened by transverse webs stiffeners having a tubular configuration with flattened end portions. The flattened end is inserted between the laminated web material or sheets and cured therewith to form an integral stiffened web structure.

  • Patent number: 4331723
Abstract: A composite structure has joints reinforced with adherend inserts between skin and web. The inserts are wedge shaped, have laminated sides with reinforcement in two directions, a reinforced core and the laminates are stitched together adjacent the core.

  • Patent number: 4278485
Abstract: An elongate hollow structure with a plurality of reinforcements arranged in a pattern and acting as spacers between a pair of skins. The skins are of resin impregnated wound filaments with reinforcing strips of facing preimpregnated wound filaments that crisscross at the spacing reinforcements, abutting panels extend between adjacent reinforcing spacers to fill the space between the skins, and the structure is bonded with resin into a composite structure.
