  • Publication number: 20240141483
Abstract: Implementations of the present disclosure relate to apparatus, systems, and methods of using a transfer chamber. In one or more implementations, gaseous impurities are reduced in a transfer chamber. In one implementation, a method includes receiving user input via a user interface indicating for the substrate processing system to conduct, according to a set of parameters, a service recovery operation that includes, for each cycle of a quantity of pump-purge cycles, operating a vacuum pump according to a base pressure to reduce a quantity of gas in the transfer chamber, then directing a purge gas to the transfer chamber according to a backfill pressure. The method also includes, after the cycles are complete, directing the purge gas into the transfer chamber until a threshold pressure is satisfied, and providing an indication via the user interface that the operation is complete.

  • Patent number: 11840441
Abstract: Described herein is a coupling device configured to be mechanically coupled to a cap of a container to be in a coupled configuration. Also described herein are a corresponding method and a corresponding system. In one embodiment, the coupling device is used in combination with a crop protection spray system. The coupling device includes a single probe and a first and a second mechanical mechanism. The first and the second mechanical mechanisms are independent from each other. The first mechanism allows drawing the cap and the container towards the coupling device thereby sealing and locking the cap and the coupling device into a desired position. The second mechanism facilitates actually moving the probe thereby lifting the probe with the closure insert into the container. The coupling device may be embodied as a first, second and third tube which are arranged concentrically.

  • Publication number: 20230217903
Abstract: Animal sensing systems and methods are described. An animal sensing system can include an input section with an entrance and an output section having at least two output paths each having its own exit. An animal can enter the animal sensing system through the entrance. A sensor within a sensing area of the input section can detect one or more characteristics of the animal, and can communicate the detected characteristic(s) to a central processing unit. The central processing unit can use the received data to classify the animal based on the detected characteristic(s), and then control a directional guide, such as a gate, in the animal sensing system on the basis of the classification, so as to direct the animal within the animal sensing system, such as to allow access to only one of the output paths at a time. The animal may thus be allowed to exit the animal sensing system through only one output path, directing the animal to a desired location based on the classification.

  • Patent number: 11623781
Abstract: The present invention relates to a container with a side wall of plastic encloses a container volume. Horizontally oriented grooves spaced vertically apart from one another are formed in the side wall, and the grooves include first grooves for stiffening the side wall. The first grooves have a first groove depth and are configured such that a projection protruding into the enclosed container volume is formed in the inner surface of the side wall. The grooves also include second grooves having a second groove depth. The first groove depth is greater than the second groove depth. The first and second grooves are arranged such that at least one second groove is in each case arranged in the vertical direction between two first grooves. The subvolumes enclosed by two horizontal planes, which are defined by two adjacent grooves, and the side wall are in each case identical.

  • Patent number: 11009459
Abstract: An apparatus and methods for high-speed non-linear spectrally encoded multi-photon imaging that are particularly suited for use in two photon fluorescence and fluorescence lifetime imaging. The system is capable of optical image compression and scale invariant digital zoom. A wavelength agile laser with digitally synthesized electro-optic modulation in a master oscillator-power amplifier configuration is combined with spectral encoding to eliminate the speed limitations of inertial scanning. The technique for fast two photon fluorescent imaging with simultaneous lifetime imaging independently detects the location, amplitude and lifetime of fluorescent emission by synthesizing a sequential excitation beam via digital electro-optic modulation of a quasi-CW swept source followed by time encoded detection. For fluorescent imaging, spectral and temporal mappings are employed separately, with quasi-CW spectral encoding used for pumping and time encoding for constructing the image at fluorescence wavelength.

  • Publication number: 20210001737
Abstract: A plug-in system for a wired charging process for charging an electrical energy store of an at least partially electrically operated device includes a charging socket positioned on the electrically operated device. The plug-in system has a charging device with a charging plug which can be extended towards the charging socket using a translational movement. The charging socket has a cover for protecting contact parts of the charging socket from environmental influences. The charging plug is designed to produce, as a result of the translational movement, one or more reclosable contact part openings in the cover, through which openings contact parts of the charging plug can be guided during the translational movement in order to form pairs of galvanically conductive connections to the corresponding contact parts of the charging socket.

  • Patent number: 10853094
Abstract: In a distributed data processing and deduplication system comprising a plurality of clients and servers, a traditional client library on each client is replaced by a small kernel library and a separate client library which may be either on the client or on a separate server. The kernel library receives an initialization API call from an application on the client, determines the appropriate version of the client library for that application, and directs the initialization call to that client library. The client library returns to the kernel library a list of function pointers to code that implements functions called by the application, and dynamically redirects function API calls from the application to the code. By storing the client library at one central location and updating that one version for changes to hardware and software, multiple client systems may be updated automatically upon initialization to use the new version of the client library.
