  • Publication number: 20190301444
Abstract: Aspects are provided for positive displacement pumps and methods and systems for remotely controlling such positive displacement pumps via a network. An application server receives, from a registered user, a selection of an operation program for the positive displacement pump, the operation program including control commands to control a drive motor of the pump. The application server sends the program to a network hub to publish the control commands to the pump, wherein the pump retrieves the control commands from the network hub. The application server stores a record of the control commands associated with the registered user. The application server receives operation parameters from the pump and stores the operation parameters in association with the registered user. The application server evaluates the operation parameters according to defined conditions. The application server transmits an alert to a registered user, for example.

  • Patent number: 8851755
Abstract: A self-aligning track roller bearing includes an inner member having a central axis and a convex surface and an outer member has a concave surface and is angularly displaceable relative to the central axis. A lubricious liner is positioned between the convex surface and the concave surface. The lubricious liner creates a force resisting movement of the inner member relative to the outer member. The bearing includes a snubber engaging an axially facing surface of the outer member and another snubber engaging another axially facing surface of the outer member. Outer rings are coupled to opposing axially facing surfaces of the inner member to retain the snubbers in engagement therewith. One or more of the snubbers are elastically deformable in response to angular displacement of the outer member and have a resilience set to overcome the force and urge the outer member to be concentric with the central axis.

  • Patent number: 7340385
Abstract: A method is disclosed for modeling a point bar associated with a multi-story channel belt, the method including: (a) in response to a plurality of rock classifications, generating a first two dimensional grid representing a grid of a top of the point bar and generating a second two dimensional grid representing a grid of a bottom of the point bar within the multi-story channel belt; and (b) in response to the first and second two dimensional grids representing the grid of the top and the bottom of the point bar, generating a three dimensional grid representing a volume of the point bar including the grid of the top of the point bar, the grid of the bottom of the point bar, and a grid of a side of the point bar.

  • Publication number: 20030233217
Abstract: A method of generating a plurality of simulation results adapted for display on a display device includes: generating, responsive to a plurality of rock classifications, a plurality of model realizations representing an architecture of a fluvial reservoir; and generating, responsive to the plurality of model realizations representing the architecture of the fluvial reservoir, a plurality of grids representing the architecture of the fluvial reservoir, the plurality of grids adapted for display on the display device.

  • Patent number: 5269686
Abstract: A dental implant has threads with a long pitch so the implant can be driven into a predrilled hole in the bone by axially delivered blows. When rotational forces are placed on the implant in attaching or removing the prosthesis, the long pitch threads will mechanically resist the rotational forces. The implant also includes a post integrally formed thereon so a minimum of separate procedures is required. The post includes a screw having a nylon rod therethrough to lock the screw in place.
