  • Patent number: 5080371
Abstract: A foot attachable game apparatus which enables a player to both toss and receive a game ball. The apparatus is generally trough shaped with an interior lining which cushions the reception of a game ball within the apparatus. The apparatus has at least two retaining means to help hold a game ball in the apparatus. The apparatus has a scoop which provides the player with control over the ball for passes and shots and enables the player to scoop up a loose game ball. A recess in the lining, allows the player to cradle the ball in the recess thus giving the player greater control over the ball.

  • Patent number: 4651722
Abstract: A reusable knee support structure comprises an inner layer of a resilient material, such as neoprene rubber, and an outer layer of a relatively non-resilient but flexible material, such as Dacron.RTM. sail cloth, that is secured as a pair of mirror image sections to the outside surface of the inner layer. A pair of articulated linkages, each made of a material such as roller or bicycle chain, is disposed between the inner and outer layers on each side of the center line of the support structure. The resilient layer is snugly wrapped around the knee of a human with an aperture in the inner layer positioned over the kneecap. Hook and loop fastening panels may be secured to the structure to facilitate its application.

  • Patent number: 4133311
Abstract: A reusable ankle support structure comprises an inner layer of a resilient material, such as neoprene rubber, and an outer layer of a relatively non-resilient but flexible material, such as denim cloth, that is secured as a pair of mirror image sections to the outside surface of the inner layer. Each of the outer layer sections includes an integral, elongated flexible strap extending therefrom. The resilient inner layer is snugly wrapped around the ankle of a human with the straps to the front of the ankle. The straps are snugly wrapped around the foot crossing over the top of the foot and again under the arch of the foot, pulled upwardly on opposite sides of the ankle and then secured under tension to the sides of the structure. The straps thus combine with the inner layer to provide stirrup-like support against eversion and inversion of the ankle. Hook and loop fastening panels may be secured to the structure to facilitate its application.
