  • Patent number: 10822907
Abstract: A wellhead assembly includes an outer wellhead member having a bore and an inner wellhead member located in the bore, defining an annular pocket between the outer and inner wellhead members. A sealing assembly is located within the annular pocket, the sealing assembly having an annular seal and an energizing ring. The energizing ring engages inner and outer legs of the annular seal to push the inner and outer legs into sealing engagement with the inner and outer wellhead members. A retainer nut is threadingly attached to the free end of the outer leg of the sealing assembly. Mating grooves are located on one of an inner diameter of the retainer nut and an outer diameter of the energizing ring and mating protrusions located on the other. The mating protrusions mate with the mating grooves to prevent relative axial movement between the energizing ring and the annular seal.

  • Publication number: 20200326972
Abstract: A vendor of virtual machine images accesses a virtual computer system service to upload a digitally signed virtual machine image to a data store usable by customers of the virtual computer system service to select an image for creating a virtual machine instance. If a digital certificate is uploaded along with the virtual machine image, the virtual computer system service may determine whether the digital certificate has been trusted for use. If the digital certificate has been trusted for use, the virtual computer system service may use a public cryptographic key to decrypt a hash signature included with the image to obtain a first hash value. The service may additionally apply a hash function to the image itself to obtain a second hash value. If the two hash values match, then the virtual machine image may be deemed to be authentic.

  • Publication number: 20200299076
Abstract: A vehicle restraining mechanism for a loading dock system includes a restraint assembly having a barricade member that is rotationally operable between a stored position, a blocking position and a verification position. The barricade member in the blocking position selectively secures a vehicle relative to a wall of a loading dock. A linear actuator laterally operates the barricade member along a linear path of travel that is generally perpendicular to a rotational axis of the barricade member. A sensor is in communication with at least one of the linear actuator and the barricade member. The sensor and the linear actuator cooperate to position the barricade member relative to a rear impact guard of a vehicle that is parked at the loading dock.

  • Patent number: 10769647
Abstract: A computer system may be configured to analyze a set of data and detect divergent trends of one or more subsets of the set of data. The set of data may include reactions of a plurality of customers in response to an action of an organization. For example, the action may relate to goods or services offered by the organization, and the reactions may include responses of the customers to the goods or services. The customer reactions may include divergent trends that indicate a source of risk to the organization. Once detected, the computer system may send an alert to the organization related to the divergent trends, such that the organization may address a source of risk as indicated by the divergent trends. In some examples, the computer system may further offer or autonomously execute a mitigating action to address the source of risk.

  • Patent number: 10757139
Abstract: A security service of a computing resource service provider provides security scores for application program interfaces (APIs) and other security information to an API marketplace or other endpoints. The security score may be based at least in part on component information associated with computing resources implementing the API. The security service may obtain access to the computing resources and collect various components from the computing resources. The components may then be used to determine a security score of an API offered from consumption on the API marketplace. The security service may then publish the security score to the API marketplace or other endpoint.
