  • Publication number: 20070054284
Abstract: A novel gene (designated 184P1E2) and its encoded protein, and variants thereof, are described wherein 184P1E2 exhibits tissue specific expression in normal adult tissue, and is aberrantly expressed in the cancers listed in Table I. Consequently, 184P1E2 provides a diagnostic, prognostic, prophylactic and/or therapeutic target for cancer. The 184P1E2 gene or fragment thereof, or its encoded protein, or variants thereof, or a fragment thereof, can be used to elicit a humoral or cellular immune response; antibodies or T cells reactive with 184P1E2 can be used in active or passive immunization.

  • Publication number: 20060294104
Abstract: A data-retrieval system maintains a database of records with which it associates respective security keys. It uses those security keys as a basis for deciding whether to grant access to the records. It additionally maintains organizational information that lists relationships among positions within an organization. When a requestor requests access to a record in the database, the system associates zero or more positions with the requestor, typically by determining which position or positions within the organization the requestor occupies. It additionally determines which, if any, other positions within the organization bear a predetermined relationship to any such occupied position, and it assembles a key list that includes keys that it has associated with all such positions. The way in which the system determines whether to grant the requestor access to the record is to determine whether the security key associated with that record matches any key in the key list.

  • Publication number: 20060204714
Abstract: Core-skin bonding is improved between honeycomb and composite face sheets by applying a polyamide and/or rubber-containing adhesive to the edge of the honeycomb prior to bonding. Edge coating of honeycomb with a polyamide and/or rubber-containing adhesive is useful in further increasing the bond strength between honeycomb and prepreg face sheets, especially when the matrix resin of the prepreg is designed to adhere the prepreg to the honeycomb without the use of a separate structural adhesive.

  • Publication number: 20060200427
Abstract: A system that performs a transaction includes a mobile handset that has a biometric sensor. The biometric sensor detects a biometric from a user of the mobile handset. The mobile handset is associated with an account number. The system also includes an authentication processor configured to receive an authentication code from the mobile handset. The authentication processor uses the authentication code to authenticate the user and the user is granted access to an account corresponding to the account number when the user is authenticated by the authentication processor. The mobile handset may include a code generator that generates the authentication code. For example, the code may be generated from stored biometric information, a detected biometric, the account number, a phone number associated with the mobile handset, a serial number of the mobile handset, or a combination thereof. In one embodiment, the account number is the phone number.
