  • Patent number: 9265482
Abstract: A reversible transducer connector allows the connector to be inserted within the receptacle in more than one orientation. The electrical connections between the receptacle and connector are reprogrammed based on the orientation. The connector is inserted in two or more stages, such as using zero-insertion or magnetic retention in a first stage to identify the connector and using an automated engagement to engage remaining channel connections in a second stage for use. Doors for protecting the connector and/or receptacle may be opened and/or closed magnetically.

  • Publication number: 20080315607
Abstract: A slide assembly is provided to couple a slide-out component disposed in an opening of a vehicle body to the vehicle body. The slide assembly includes a complementary contoured guide member, roller(s), and a support member, all generally enclosed by a mountable housing. The support member and roller(s) are coupled to roll along the guide member. In a particular embodiment, rollers are mounted in pairs on the top and bottom sides of the guide member. Due to the complementary contours of the roller and guide member, the slide assembly has a self-aligning characteristic. In one embodiment, the guide member includes a single portion that is horizontal with respect to the vehicle body, and only allows movement of the slide-out component in a horizontal direction.

  • Patent number: 5796439
Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided for converting the frame rate of digital video data from one frame rate to another frame rate without introducing motion artifacts into the converted video data stream. A high frame rate video stream is converted into a lower frame rate video stream by selecting whole frames from the high frame rate video stream and outputting the selected frames as the lower frame rate video stream. To insure that only whole frames are selected from the high frame rate video stream, the frame rate of the high frame rate video stream is locked to the frame rate of the lower frame rate video stream. A frame cycle is defined to be an integer number of frames in the higher frame rate stream. The higher and lower frame rates are locked by repeatedly selecting and outputting as the lower frame rate video stream, over a time period that is substantially equal to one frame cycle, an integer number of frames from each frame cycle of the higher frame rate.
