Abstract: A method of automated handheld tool task verification is disclosed. In one embodiment, at least one operating parameter for performing a task is received at a handheld tool. It is then verified at the handheld tool that it is configured with the at least one operating parameter. The handheld tool then generates data verifying that the task was performed in accordance with the at least one operating parameter.

Abstract: A method for managing information at a construction site is disclosed. In one embodiment, task data is received from a handheld tool at a construction site. A database is populated with the task data such that the task data can be retrieved from the database. The task data is then used to generate at least one report.

Abstract: Spatial notification systems and methods are described. In one respect, a spatial notification system includes a spatial information requesting circuit configured to transmit a request for spatial information, the request including a spatial location. The spatial notification system further includes an association circuit configured to associate received spatial information with notification information and a notification delivery system. The spatial notification system also includes a transmitter configured to transmit at least a portion of the spatial information and associated notification information to a notification delivery system.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for controlling telecommunications is provided. The apparatus, which in one embodiment is a switch, may be connected between a computer-telephony integrated (CTI) workstation and multiple communication lines to elements such as Central Offices. The switch may be manipulated either manually or by the CTI workstation to connect to one of the multiple communication lines.

Abstract: A deer-actuated feeder is provided. The feeder has a storage compartment for the animal feed and an activation means which, when displaced, releases the feed through an opening in the storage compartment bottom. The activation means consist of a releasable plate which is held against the opening by either compression or tension forces.

Abstract: A flexible computer-telephony integration system (CTI) that is able to communicate in both digital and analog formats is disclosed. Apparatus and methods are disclosed wherein data is received in a digital format, formatted for a particular receiving device including serial devices and digital devices, and communicated over an appropriate communication link depending on the formatting including a dedicated serial link, a PSTN or a packet switched network (LAN/WAN). Embodiments provide the ability to selectively communicate to both analog and digital recipients various types of emergency information, including but not limited to teletypewriter (TTY) data, call notes, supplemental information, and call history for both an active 9-1-1 call and previous 9-1-1 calls. Exemplary embodiments for 9-1-1 call processing systems are described.

A roller coating process is described in which the material is applied to a roller under which said leather material passes whilst compressed. Alternatively, the micro-capsules may be applied to said leather by drumming-in in a wet process.

Abstract: A structure for preventing the theft of automobile airbags comprising a locking structure that obstructs access to fasteners used to attach an airbag to an automobile is disclosed. In addition, a method for preventing and deterring the theft of airbags is also disclosed. The method comprises the steps of obstructing access to the fasteners used to attach an airbag to an automobile and permanently imprinting one or more alphanumeric characters upon the airbag to identify the automobile in which the airbag has been installed.

Abstract: An interlocking shaft coupling including a disk-shaped body having two end faces and an interlocking element disposed on each of these faces. Each interlocking element has a substantially circular cross section and a longitudinal axis parallel to a diameter of the disk-shaped body. The coupling can be attached to opposing rotary shafts by hubs which fit over the shafts and have receiving elements which engage with the interlocking elements of the shaft coupling.

Abstract: An electrical component encapsulation package including a cover; a base including a peripheral frame with a large central hole; and support means for mounting the electrical component above and spaced from the frame for providing an open space between the frame and component for introduction and flow of encapsulating material, and to insure integrity of the electrical connections.
