  • Patent number: 5153532
Abstract: The pseudo-random-bit sequence generators are clocked by separate clock signals of different frequency. The two pseudo-random-bit sequence generator outputs are logically combined by an exclusive-or gate to provide a pseudo-random-bit sequence generator which, when converted to analog signal has improved white noise characteristics.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 24, 1989
Date of Patent: October 6, 1992
    Assignee: Honeywell Inc.
Inventors: Steven C. Albers, Timothy J. Callaghan, William L. Rasmussen, Robert A. Pajak
  • Patent number: 5000571
Abstract: A gyro readout mask is made from the actual readout interference fringe pattern. A photographic image of the readout interference fringe pattern is made, and the resulting photographic image, or a derivative thereof, is itself used as the mask.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 31, 1989
Date of Patent: March 19, 1991
    Assignee: Honeywell Inc.
Inventors: Werner H. Egli, Robert A. Pajak
  • Patent number: 3997827
Abstract: A shaded pole electric motor which utilizes shading coils on the shaded poles is operated to provide a braking action. The shading coils are normally operated to cause the motor to operate either clockwise or counterclockwise. The current flow in the shading coils is used to gate a triac for normal operation. When the triac is not gated, the energizing potential for the motor operates a unidirectional current control circuit to energize the motor winding with half-wave direct current to brake the motor.
