  • Patent number: 11956125
Abstract: There is provided a method for network management performed by a first entity (10), which is configured to manage network slices in a network. The method is performed in response to a first request to set up a first network slice. The method comprises identifying (102) one or more network nodes in the network and/or one or more second network slices to support the first network slice. For each identified network node, an update to an attribute of the identified network node is initiated (104) to add a unique identifier of the first network slice to the attribute of the identified network node. For each identified second network slice, an update to an attribute of the identified second network slice is initiated (106) to add the unique identifier of the first network slice to the attribute of the identified second network slice.

  • Publication number: 20240078916
Abstract: Aerial vehicles are assigned to routes within a transportation network based on a state of charge, state of power, and/or state of health for the aerial vehicle. Such aspects can be modeled based on one or more statistical models and/or machine-learned models, among other examples. As another example, an energy budget is used to ensure that the state of charge, state of power, and/or state of health of the aerial vehicle during and/or after traveling the route remains within the energy budget. A payload is assigned to a route and an associated aerial vehicle, thereby generating an itinerary. In examples, the itinerary is validated by the aerial vehicle to ensure that the aerial vehicle is capable of traveling the route with the payload. In examples where the aerial vehicle rejects the itinerary, the itinerary is assigned to another aerial vehicle and a new itinerary is identified for the aerial vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240071230
Abstract: Described herein are examples of a computerized method that comprises: in response to obtaining information regarding a potential collision between a vehicle and an object, obtaining data describing the vehicle for a time period extending before and after a time of the potential collision. The method may determine a likelihood that the potential collision is a non-collision event based on the data describing the vehicle by performing one or more assessments. The assessments may include telematics monitor assessment, driver behavior assessment, road surface feature assessment, trip correlation assessment, and/or context assessment. In response to determining that the likelihood indicates that the potential collision is not a non-collision event, the method may trigger one or more actions responding to the potential collision.

  • Patent number: 11824708
Abstract: There is provided a method for network management. Transmission of a request for performance of a management task on the network is initiated towards a second entity (20), which is configured to manage network slices of the network. The request comprises information identifying a first network slice (40) of the network and a first programming construct executable to cause the second entity (20) to identify one or more second network slices of the network that are supporting the first network slice (40) and/or one or more first network nodes (60) of the network supporting the first network slice (40). The request comprises a second programming construct executable to cause the second entity (20) to select the first network slice (40), one or more identified second network slices, and/or one or more identified first network nodes (60), on which to perform the management task.

  • Patent number: 11509546
Abstract: A method of operating a UE to provide feedback on a streaming session. The method includes determining when a streaming session used by an application layer of the UE is being started and/or ended. Responsive to the determination, the method transmits an indication to a RAN that the streaming session is being started and/or ended. A corresponding method of operating a network node is provided to control reporting relating to streaming sessions of UEs. The method by the network node receives an indication from an UE that a streaming session is being started and/or ended, and controls whether a Quality of Experience (QoE) configuration file is sent to the UE responsive to the indication.

  • Publication number: 20220146669
Abstract: For ultrasound imaging using a matrix transducer, interconnects or switches are provided to allow sub-arrays forming a 1D array, such as with sub-arrays one element wide with the maximum number of elements in elevation. Where groups are used to limit the switches and available system channels per group, an extra switch may connect between elements of different groups through a group output to extend a sub-array across groups. To further limit the number of switches, the group may be sub-divided where different combinations of sub-groups are connectable with different combinations of the system channels for the group.

  • Publication number: 20210168014
Abstract: In a network Performance Measurement (PM) model, network equipment (10) maintains (102) a ManagedElement object. The ManagedElement object contains one or more ManagedFunction objects which perform and report measurements. Each ManagedFunction object has one or more Measurement objects (106) that specifies a measurement, and lists a reporting period. The ManagedElement object contains a PMControl object (104), which specifies the reporting mode and includes an administrative state attribute of the ManagedElement object that is controlled by the network management system (20). • Patent number: 10749735
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for correlating event notifications between agents in a management network are provided. An agent constructs a network notification in response to receiving an event notification. If the received event notification is associated with a prior notification already received and stored by the agent, a correlation attribute is added to the constructed network notification. If the received notification matches a peer agent notification category that another agent in the management network is interested in receiving, the constructed network notification is sent to the other agent.
