  • Publication number: 20210322120
Abstract: A control arm assembly for controlling a robot system includes a gimbal that is moveable and rotatable about three axes, and a handle assembly coupled to the gimbal. The handle assembly includes a body portion having a controller disposed therein and a first actuator disposed thereon. The first actuator is mechanically coupled to the controller via a four-bar linkage such that actuation of the first actuator causes mechanical movement of a component of the controller which is converted by the controller into an electrical signal.

  • Patent number: 11130666
Abstract: The industry-standard corkscrew has numerous flaws resulting in broken corks—even in the hands of a professional. The present invention is a radical departure from the traditional corkscrew apparatus. The opener generally consists of the handle and an internally threaded half-pipe. The half-pipe slides between the cork and the bottle, wherein the series of threads engage the cork. Rotating the handle causes the threads to bore deeper into the neck of the bottle until the handles meets the lip of the bottle, and then lift the cork out of the bottle until it disengages and falls away from the opener. It should be appreciated that the elegance of the opener resides in its simplicity.

  • Patent number: 11042385
Abstract: A multiprocessor system used in a car, home, or office environment includes multiple processors that run different real-time applications. A dynamic configuration system runs on the multiple processors and includes a device manager, configuration manager, and data manager. The device manager automatically detects and adds new devices to the multiprocessor system, and the configuration manager automatically reconfigures which processors run the real-time applications. The data manager identifies the type of data generated by the new devices and identifies which devices in the multiprocessor system are able to process the data. A communication system for a mobile vehicle, home, or office environment includes multiple processors. The multiple processors each run an Open Communication system that controls how data is transferred between processors based on data content as opposed to the links that connect the processors together.

Abstract: A user interface for a robotic system includes a processing unit, an input handle, and a foot pedal. The input handle includes an actuation control that has an actuated position. In the actuated position of the input handle, the input handle transmits a handle signal to the processing unit. The foot pedal includes an actuation switch and has an actuated position. In the actuated position of the foot pedal, the foot pedal transmits a foot signal to the processing unit. The processing nit is configured to associate the input handle with the foot pedal in response to the actuation control being actuated and released. The processing unit is also configured to generate a control signal configured to actuate a tool associated with the input handle when the processing unit simultaneously receives a handle signal from the associated input handle and a foot signal form the foot pedal.
