Abstract: An apparatus for video decoding receives a video data stream having pictures of a video encoded thereinto. The video data stream comprises a plurality of access units, a plurality of SEI (supplemental enhancement information) messages and processing order information which defines a processing order of the plurality of SEI messages. The apparatus is configured to determine the processing order information to obtain information on the processing order of the plurality of SEI messages. The processing order information comprises information on an identifier for each SEI message of two or more SEI messages of the plurality of SEI messages, wherein the identifier of each SEI message of the two or more SEI messages is unique among the two or more SEI messages.

  • Publication number: 20250111851
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for coordinating interactions between a user device and a plurality of accessory devices. In one example, a user device receives information identifying one or more accessory devices in communication with the user device. The user device may implement accessory interaction instances for each of the identified accessories. A first accessory interaction instance can be associated with a first accessory among the identified accessories and receive a first audio input from the first accessory corresponding to a user request. The first accessory interaction instance can process a portion of the received audio input and receive a first response from a server computer. The user device may then transmit the first response to the first accessory device.

  • Patent number: 12262035
Abstract: A video data stream is rendered reducible in a manner so that the reduction leads to a restriction of pictures of the reduced video data stream to merely a predetermined subarea of the pictures of the original video data stream and in a manner so that transcoding, such as re-quantization, may be avoided and a conformance of the reduced video data stream relative to the codec underlying the original video data stream be maintained. This is achieved by providing the video data stream with information including an indication of the predetermined subarea and replacement indices for redirecting the indices included by the payload portion so as to refer to, and/or replacement parameters for adjusting the first set of coding parameter settings so as to result in, a second set of coding parameter settings.

  • Publication number: 20250076973
Abstract: Wearable systems and method for operation thereof incorporating headset and controller localization using headset cameras and controller fiducials are disclosed. A wearable system may include a headset and a controller. The wearable system may alternate between performing headset tracking and performing controller tracking by repeatedly capturing images using a headset camera of the headset during headset tracking frames and controller tracking frames. The wearable system may cause the headset camera to capture a first exposure image an exposure above a threshold and cause the headset camera to capture a second exposure image having an exposure below the threshold. The wearable system may determine a fiducial interval during which fiducials of the controller are to flash at a fiducial frequency and a fiducial period. The wearable system may cause the fiducials to flash during the fiducial interval in accordance with the fiducial frequency and the fiducial period.
