  • Patent number: 11954148
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to select reference sub-fingerprints for comparison to query sub-fingerprints based on a determination that a query sub-fingerprint is a match with a reference sub-fingerprint, generate a count vector that stores total counts of matches between the query sub-fingerprints and different subsets of the reference sub-fingerprints, each of the different subsets being aligned to the query sub-fingerprints at a different offset from a reference point, each of the different offsets being mapped by the count vector to a different total count, calculate a maximum count among the total counts, a median of the total counts, and a difference between the maximum count and the median of the total counts, and classify the reference sub-fingerprints as a match with the query sub-fingerprints based on the difference between the maximum count in the count vector and the median.

  • Patent number: 11954216
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for detecting the inadvertent modification to or deletion of data in a data store and taking automated action to prevent the deletion of data from becoming permanent. The described techniques may also be utilized to detect anomalous changes to a policy or affecting storage of data and taking automated action to mitigate the effects of those changes. In one example, events generated as a result of requests to perform operations on data objects in a data storage service may be obtained, where at least some of the events indicate a failure to fulfill respective requests. Data from the events may be input into a model to detect an anomaly indicative of inadvertent modification of data. As a result of detection of the anomaly, a set of operations may be initiated or performed to prevent the inadvertent modification of data from becoming permanent.

Abstract: Aspects of the embodiments include receiving, from one or more telematics sensors in a vehicle and by the one or more data processing systems, a plurality of telematics data items that are sampled at a plurality of sample times. For a given sample time, accessing a given telematics data item that satisfies the one or more conditions, computing a fuel consumption amount at the given sample time, and determining a distance traveled by the vehicle from a previous sample time that is prior to the given sample time, to the given sample time. For each telematics data items that satisfies the conditions, computing a total distance and a total fuel consumption amount, with the computing based on distances traveled and fuel consumption amounts for the plurality of telematics data items; and determining a fuel efficiency score the total fuel consumption amount and the total distance or a total time.

  • Patent number: 11944373
Abstract: An intravascular catheter for peri-vascular and/or peri-urethral tissue ablation includes multiple needles advanced through supported guide tubes which expand around a central axis to engage the interior surface of the wall of the renal artery or other vessel of a human body allowing the injection an ablative fluid for ablating tissue, and/or nerve fibers in the outer layer or deep to the outer layer of the vessel, or in prostatic tissue. The system may also include a means to limit and/or adjust the depth of penetration of the ablative fluid into and beyond the tissue of the vessel wall. The catheter may also include structures which provide radial and/or lateral support to the guide tubes so that the guide tubes expand uniformly and maintain their position against the interior surface of the vessel wall as the sharpened injection needles are advanced to penetrate into the vessel wall.

  • Patent number: 11946386
Abstract: Various embodiments include a turbine blade having an airfoil with a tip shroud having a forwardmost tip rail having one or more pressure side and suction side bevel surfaces and pressure side and suction side scallop surfaces. The surfaces have a nominal profile substantially in accordance Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y and Z set forth in various tables herein. The Cartesian coordinate values are non-dimensional values of from 0% to 100% convertible to distances by multiplying the values by a tip rail length expressed in units of distance. The X, Y and Z values are connected by smooth continuing arcs that are joined smoothly with one another to form the nominal profile that defines the suction side scallop surface, the pressure side scallop surface, the suction side bevel surface, or the pressure side bevel surface.

  • Publication number: 20240102306
Abstract: A method of designing a modular cooling tower cell which may utilize mechanicals from a preexisting cell and assembling the modular cell within a cooling field in-situ using a series of custom modules. After collecting a data set from a preexisting cooling tower cell and removing the preexisting tower, a build specification is generated, including calculating a cut list for vertical and horizontal members which will form the basis of the plurality of modules forming the cell. The members are fabricated and include a plurality of connection points which allow for sizing adjustments without affecting the connection points. The modules are then constructed using the data set from the preexisting tower to form a plurality of modules comprising a cell matrix based on the data set from the preexisting cooling tower cell.

  • Patent number: 11934376
Abstract: A database management engine provides a user interface that allows users to access and modify employee information in a database. The database includes entries for employees, and each database entry includes identifying information about the associated employee. A user can request to modify data within database entries, for instance in order to update information associated with an employee. Responsive to the request, the database management engine identifies liabilities associated with the database modification stemming from associated tax laws. Based on the identified tax liabilities, the engine computes the aggregate tax liability owed by the employer and/or employee. Before modifying a database entry, the engine modifies the user interface to include interface elements detailing the computed aggregate tax liability. The user explicitly can be required to confirm the database modification in view of the aggregate tax liability.
