  • Publication number: 20210144514
Abstract: A user can submit a request to a server associated with an ATM. The request can be submitted from a device (or portable device) of the user. The server can evaluate the request and designate which ATM or ATMs are best suited to process the request. This determination can be based on availability of resources on the ATM. Subsequently, the server can transmit a communication to the device of the user and the designated ATM. The communication can cause both the device and the ATM to emit a sound or display a visual cue to guide the user to approach the designated ATM. The device and the ATM can emit various patterns of sound to better guide the user to approach the designated ATM.

  • Publication number: 20210140298
Abstract: Methods for determination of elastic properties of geological formations using machine learning include extracting a first feature vector from data acquired during drilling. The data includes at least drilling parameters. The first feature vector is indicative of a drilling environment classification. A machine learning classification algorithm determines the drilling environment classification based on the first feature vector. A machine learning regression algorithm is selected from multiple machine learning regression algorithms based on the drilling classification. A second feature vector is extracted from the data acquired during drilling based on the drilling classification and the selected machine learning regression algorithm. The second feature vector is indicative of elastic properties of a geological formation. The selected machine learning regression algorithm determines the elastic properties of the geological formation based on the second feature vector.

  • Publication number: 20210135953
Abstract: Disclosed communication flow modeling solution is significantly streamlined in a user friendly way to shield users from the technical complexities usually required. At design time, an orchestration flow modeling application receives user instruction to open or create a communication flow modeling project. Per configuration specific to an enterprise associated with the user, a custom drag-and-drop communication flow modeling environment with a canvas and modeling entities is provided. Responsive to the user dragging and dropping a set of modeling entities from the menu onto the communication flow modeling canvas and drawing connections between them, the orchestration flow modeling application logically connects the modeling entities to form a valid communication flow and stores it in a database. The communication flow undergoes an approval process. Once approved, it is activated for execution by an orchestration server.

  • Patent number: 10999319
Abstract: Embodiments provide system and methods for a DDoS service using a mix of mitigation systems (also called scrubbing centers) and non-mitigation systems. The non-mitigation systems are less expensive and thus can be placed at or near a customer's network resource (e.g., a computer, cluster of computers, or entire network). Under normal conditions, traffic for a customer's resource can go through a mitigation system or a non-mitigation system. When an attack is detected, traffic that would have otherwise gone through a non-mitigation system is re-routed to a mitigation system. Thus, the non-mitigation systems can be used to reduce latency and provide more efficient access to the customer's network resource during normal conditions. Since the non-mitigation servers are not equipped to respond to an attack, the non-mitigation systems are not used during an attack, thereby still providing protection to the customer network resource using the mitigation systems.

  • Patent number: 10974506
Abstract: There is provided a charge electrode for charging ink droplets for continuous ink jet printing. The charge electrode has a generally cylindrical main body defining a generally cylindrical passage for the ink droplets, said passage extending along a travel axis that represents, in use, the position of an ink jet in ingress to the electrode and a direction of travel of the ink droplets once these have detached from the ink jet. The charge electrode comprises two distinct axially disposed regions: a first region for charging the droplets as required; and, a second region for screening the charged droplets from any electric fields which could undesirably affect the trajectory of the ink jet and/or the droplets. The second region may fully surround at least a portion of the travel axis. The invention therefore provides improved screening for the ink jet and/or the droplets. This may in turn enable better control of the charge applied to the charged droplets, and/or of their travel trajectory.

  • Patent number: 10944784
Abstract: Embodiments can identify requests that may be tied to a DDOS attack. For example, the primary identifiers (e.g., a source address) of requests for a network resource (e.g., an entire website or a particular element of the website) can be tracked. In one embodiment, a statistical analysis of how often a particular source address (or other primary identifier) normally makes a request can be used to identify source addresses that make substantially more requests. A normal amount can correspond to an average number of request that a source address makes. According to some embodiments, a system can use statistical analysis methods on various request data in web server logs to identify potential attacks and send data concerned potential attacks to an HBA system for further analysis.
