Abstract: A modular lighting system that includes power bars that can transfer power and hangers that support that support the power bars which can be vertically offset from each other. A hanger can have two cylindrical members that each engage one of the power bars, and rods can extend between the cylindrical members to provide both mechanical support and electrical connection between the power bars.

Abstract: A modular canopy lighting system is described comprising suspension elements for suspending said system from a ceiling, power beams including internal power beams, and connectors for connecting beams with other beams and beams with suspenders and lighting elements. The system is modular with the beams assembled to preferably define a single plane. A variety of lighting elements are usable in the present system, including lighting elements embedded in beams. The lighting elements may be configured with lenses in order to, for example, direct or diffuse the emitted light.

Abstract: A lighting system that can be mounted to a structure and provides light in multiple direction, such as both the upward and downward directions. The lighting system can include at least one casing, a plate, a housing, at least one first light source and at least one second light source. The hangers have one or two rods and bases shaped and sized for mounting on the bars with the rods contacting the conductive rails. A canopy with ferrules is used to attach the system to the ceiling or other structural surface. The canopy includes a cup and ferrules extending through the cup wall and supporting hangers attached thereto. The ferrules further provide electric power to the hangers.
