  • Patent number: 10549879
Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to a container comprising: a spout, a base portion, and a plurality of alternating long sidewalls and short sidewalls extending away from the base portion to the spout. The plurality of alternating long sidewalls and short sidewalls collectively define a vertical portion extending away from the base portion, a downward sloping planar top portion extending away from the spout, and a gradually curved transition region extending between the vertical portion and the downward sloping planar top portion. The container comprises a strength protrusion surrounding the spout and defined within the downward sloping planar top portion and one or more vertical grooves defined within at least one of the long sidewalls or the short sidewalls.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 27, 2018
Date of Patent: February 4, 2020
Assignees: Milacron LLC, Consolidated Container Company LP
Inventors: Joey Palmer, James Janeczek, Robert Spagnoli

  • Patent number: 5466911
Abstract: An electrically heated window assembly and method for heating a movable front door window (side lite) of a motor vehicle defrosts and deices the front window by producing a concentration of heat at the portion of the front window through which an operator or passenger of the vehicle views an exterior rear view mirror. To heat the window, a current flows between a first bus bar, positioned along the front edge of the window, and a second bus bar, positioned along the rear edge of the window. A conductive film provides the current path between the respective bus bars. A nonconductive break is formed in the conductive film substantially along the nominal door line of the window to prohibit heating of the window below the nominal door line. The first bus bar may preferably be arcuately-shaped to provide a uniform heating pattern on the window. Various control devices, such as temperature sensors and position sensors, are used to control the heating process.

  • Patent number: 5153027
Abstract: A substrate, bearing a coating having a thickness which varies in more than one direction across the surface of the substance, is prepared by a process wherein the substrate is immersed into a coating medium bath, then withdrawn in a predetermined direction and at a predetermined rate, and simultaneously pivoted at a predetermined angular velocity about an axis which is orthogonal to the direction of withdrawal.
