  • Publication number: 20240151086
Abstract: A hinge assembly utilizes first and second hinge members. Each hinge member has an attachment body and a pair of laterally spaced apart opposite arms. Each arm has an aperture for receiving a cylindrical member for rotatably coupling the hinge members together so that the hinge members are rotatable about the cylindrical member. The arms of each of the first and second hinge members are spaced apart the same distance, with each arm of having an outer face that faces away from the opposite arm and an inner face that faces the opposite arm. The hinge members are configured so that each arm of each hinge member interfaces with one arm of the other hinge member with the arms of the hinge members being in an offset arrangement wherein the outer face of only one arm of each hinge member interfaces the inner face of only one arm of the other hinge member.

  • Patent number: 11968041
Abstract: A method for transmitting system information on a PBCH is described herein. A transmission/reception point (TRP) may generate a concatenated master information block (MIB) transport block that includes information bits associated with system bandwidth information, timing information, system frame number (SFN), a beam sweeping configuration, and a control resource set (CORESET). The TRP may then attach at least 16 cyclic redundancy check (CRC) bits to the concatenated MIB and then prioritize the concatenated MIB and the at least 16 CRC bits based on content. The TRP may then perform channel coding of the prioritized concatenated MIB and the at least 16 CRC bits to produce coded bits using at least one polar encoder with a coding rate that is less than 1/3, perform rate matching via repetition on the coded bits, and then transmit the rate matched, coded bits on the PBCH of a radio frame.

  • Publication number: 20240121290
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, non-transitory computer-readable media, and methods for generating a secure upload URL, receiving a file upload to a first draft data store, and transferring the file from the first draft data store to a first final data store. In particular, in one or more embodiments, the disclosed systems transfers the file from the first draft data store to a first final data store based on the file meeting predetermined file attributes associated with the first draft data store. Moreover, the disclosed system provides to an agent device access to the file based on access permissions corresponding to the first final data store.

  • Publication number: 20210077283
Abstract: An implantable frame comprises a plurality of corner structures configured to decrease pressure to the vessel wall and define pulsatility enhancing windows of the implantable frame. The corner structures may comprise plurality of neighboring longitudinal struts that extend in a longitudinal direction of the blood vessel when placed to form the vessel wall to a substantially polygonal cross-section and distribute pressure loading of the corner structure among the plurality of neighboring longitudinal struts to improve biocompatibility. The corner structures also allow increased forming of the vessel wall and can provide stretching of the vessel wall to enhance pulsatility of the vessel wall.

  • Patent number: 10653513
Abstract: Systems and methods for screening a subject for a therapy are described. A mechanical stimulation device positioned near at target location of a blood vessel to provide a mechanical stimulus to the blood vessel. The mechanical stimulus increases strain in one or more regions of the blood vessel, such as by modifying the cross-sectional geometry and/or area of the blood vessel to have different regions of different curvature A baroreflex or related physiological response in response to the mechanical stimulation is detected. In response to the detected response, it is determined whether the subject is appropriate for the therapy and/or which of a plurality of implants with different geometries and/or cross-sectional areas is most optimally suited for deployment in the subject.

  • Patent number: 9612306
Abstract: A method for producing a biomarker indicative of a repetitive head injury in a subject using a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system is provided. Two-dimensional spectroscopic data is acquired from a subject using an MRI system. From the two-dimensional spectroscopic data, a two-dimensional spectrum is produced. The two-dimensional spectrum contains spectral information indicated by a first spectral dimension and a second spectral dimension. Such a two-dimensional spectrum may include diagonal peaks and off-diagonal, or cross-peaks. In such an instance, each cross peak may indicate, for example, scalar coupling between the two protons it connects on the diagonal. However, depending on the type of method used, different types of coupling may also be present. Using the two-dimensional spectrum, a biomarker indicative of repetitive head injury in the subject is identified, and may be used to produce a report indicating a status or regression of a neurological dysfunction.

  • Patent number: 9010821
Abstract: Tongs for manipulating shish-kebob on a barbeque grill, the tongs having two arms, the two arms being in parallel relationship at an insulated handle end which includes the pivot point at one end, the arms diverging at the opposing end of the handle end, to form two opposing spaced apart arms having kebob engaging ends, each end having an aperture there through, the apertures engaging the ends of the skewer, the tongs then being compressed so that the kebob engaging ends engage the outer food items on the skewer preventing their rotation so that the kebob may be either flipped for even cooking on the opposing side, or removed from the grill for consumption without endangering the fingers of the user.

  • Publication number: 20130346124
Abstract: A method and system are provided for determining a group travel destination and compatible travel itinerary for a travel party to travel on a trip together. A unique identifier is created or used by each individual traveler, and each individual traveler is asked a series of hierarchical questions concerning parameters for travel in order to create a profile. Multiple traveler profiles are linked to form a set of travel party data. After further refining and polling a common destination and a common set of travel dates is selected from possible travel dates after a lookup by the system in each travelers individual calendars.

  • Patent number: 7781397
Abstract: The invention is based on the discovery of methods for purification of an acid active hyaluronidase found in human plasma (hpHAse), including both biochemical and immunoaffinity purification methods. The method of immunoaffinity purification of the invention is based on the discovery of a method for identifying antibodies that specifically bind native hpHAse (anti-native hpHAse antibodies), and anti-native hpHAse antibodies identified by this screening method. The invention also features an assay for sensitive detection of HAse activity using biotinylated hyaluronic acid (bHA). Purification and characterization of hpHAse lead to the inventors' additional discovery that hpHAse is encoded by the LuCa-1 gene, which gene is present in the human chromosome at 3p21.3, a region associated with tumor suppression. The invention additionally features methods of treating tumor-bearing patients by administration of hpHAse and/or transformation of cells with hpHAse-encoding DNA.

  • Patent number: 7539656
Abstract: A method and system are disclosed for retrieving information through the use of a multi-stage interaction with a client to identify particular knowledge content associated with a knowledge map. The present invention is an application program running on a server accessed via the world-wide web or other data network using standard Internet protocols, a web browser and web server software. In addition to an automated portion, the present invention allows a human dialog designer to model the way the system elicits information, giving a human feel to the dialog and a better customer experience. In operation, users start a dialog by directing their web browser to a designated web page. This web page asks the user some initial questions that are then passed to a dialog engine. The dialog engine then applies its methods and algorithms to a knowledge map, using dialog control information\ and the user's responses to provide feedback to the user.
