Publication number: 20120214459Abstract: A method and system for routing incoming communications in a communications network are provided. The network comprises a plurality of network elements. An addressable number is associated with a plurality of communications devices each identified by a unique identifier. A communication addressed to a communications device is received at a network element, the communication comprising the addressable number. A subscriber service profile associated with the addressable number is retrieved at a discrete network element, where an appropriate communications device for delivery of the incoming communication based on pre-established criteria in the subscriber service profile is determined. An identifier of the appropriate communications device is forwarded from the discrete network element to the network element. The communication is transmitted to the appropriate communications device.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 1, 2012Publication date: August 23, 2012Inventors: Bohdan Konstantyn Zabawskyj, Steven Robert Tait, Rubens Rahim, Claire Marion Burton

Patent number: 7435986Abstract: A system and a method for detecting defects in a light-management film are provided. The system includes a first light source configured to emit light onto a first side of the film in a first predetermined region of the film. The system further includes a second light source configured to emit light onto a second side of the film in the first predetermined region of the film. The system further includes a first camera configured to receive a first portion of light reflected from the first predetermined region of film from the first light source and a second portion of the light propagating through the film from the second light source. Finally, the system includes a signal-processing device openably coupled to the first camera configured to detect a defect in the first predetermined region of the film based on at least one of the first and second portions of light.Type: GrantFiled: December 12, 2006Date of Patent: October 14, 2008Assignee: Sabic Innovative Plastics IP B.V.Inventors: Kevin Patrick Capaldo, Mark Cheverton, Kevin George Harding, Robert Tait

Publication number: 20070133009Abstract: A phase shifting imaging module in a handheld imager is provided. The phase shifting imaging module includes a first beam splitter configured to split an image radiation beam into first and second image radiation beams. It also includes a first prism configured to align the first and second image radiation beams, and a second beam splitter configured to split the first and second image radiation beams into four image radiation beams. A second prism aligns the four image radiation beams. A phase mask introduces phase retardation between the four image radiation beams, resulting in four phase shifted image radiation beams. A pixilated sensor generates image data based upon each of the four phase shifted image radiation beams.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 14, 2005Publication date: June 14, 2007Inventors: Shu-Guo Tang, Kevin Harding, Robert Tait, Craig Cantello

Patent number: 5630874Abstract: Apparatus and process are described for impregnating a fibrous substrate with a thermosettable resin. The process involves the use of resin application means comprising a moving surface on which is positioned a liquid-form thermosettable resin in essentially uncured state, passing a fibrous web in countercurrent contact with the thermosettable resin so as to transfer the thermosettable resin into the fibrous web, and passing the resin-containing fibrous web to a heating zone to partially cure the resin and form a prepreg. The process is particularly suited for application of a solventless resin formulation to a glass web in the preparation of a prepreg for an electrical laminate.Type: GrantFiled: June 7, 1995Date of Patent: May 20, 1997Assignee: Shell Oil CompanyInventors: Robert A. Tait, Walter R. Stelling, John J. Hartley, Donald M. Chevako
