  • Patent number: 12047631
Abstract: A network digital video recording (nDVR) system may take into account the capabilities of a requesting user's local DVR when managing network recordings. The user's local DVR may include a temporary buffer that is normally used to record what the DVR is tuned to, and may be used for local trickplay functionality such as pausing live television. The nDVR features described herein may track the usage of the user's temporary DVR buffer, and use that in determining what to stream in response to a user's playback request. The nDVR system can also determine if the user's local DVR has an unused tuner at a time of a program recording, and can instruct the user's local DVR to also tune to the program.

  • Publication number: 20240231704
Abstract: Commands in a command queue are received and scheduled. For each of the commands, scheduling includes determining an age of a command based on an entrance time of the command in the command queue. When the age of the command satisfies a first threshold, marking all other commands in the command queue as not issuable when the command is a deterministic command, and marking all other commands in the command queue as not issuable when the command is a non-deterministic command and the intermediate command queue is not empty. Scheduling the command further includes determining whether the command is a read command and marking the command as not issuable when the command is a non-deterministic read command and the intermediate command queue is empty.

  • Publication number: 20240212438
Abstract: A game recommender device includes a processor circuit and a memory comprising machine-readable instructions that, when executed by the processor circuit, cause the processor circuit to receive a login request from an operator processor circuit. The login request includes login credentials. Operations include evaluating the login credentials. A graphical user interface (GUI) is provided to the operator processor circuit configured to manage multiple gaming devices that provide a player with a subset of games of multiple games. Managing the games includes selecting the subset of games. Operations include receiving, from the operator processor circuit, an indication of a first game of the subset of games, determining data corresponding to multiple external factors and an identity of the first game, and transmitting, to the operator processor circuit, recommended games for use with the first game based on the first game and the data corresponding to the plurality of external factors.

  • Publication number: 20240212441
Abstract: A gaming device includes a display device, an input device, a processor circuit, and a memory. The memory includes machine-readable instructions that, when executed by the processor circuit, cause the processor circuit to receive, by the processor circuit and via an operator processing circuit, identification corresponding to multiple game sets. Each of the game sets may include a subset of games. The processor circuit is caused to determine a recommended game set switch from a first game set to a second game set. The first and second game sets are on an electronic gaming machine (EGM) and the determining is performed using artificial intelligence that uses external data to identify the second game sets. The processor circuit is caused to transmit, to the EGM, an identification of the recommended game set switch.

  • Publication number: 20240168737
Abstract: Systems and methods that provide a mechanism to transition static schema to dynamic schema while maintaining backwards capability. Simple removal of static schema elements, followed by replacement with dynamic schema elements, make a third-party code incompatible since the third-party code references schema entities that no longer exist. Provided is a mechanism to decrease the memory use of non-material static schema entities. Transitioning static schema to dynamic schema allows the database to avoid loading non-material schema entities, thereby decreasing overall memory usage.

  • Patent number: 11941660
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for providing conversion path performance measures and reports. In one aspect, user interaction data are obtained, were the user interaction data specify user interactions for a plurality of conversions. User interactions that are associated with each conversion are selected from the user interaction data, where the associated user interactions for each conversion are user interactions with a converting user during the conversion cycle for the conversion. Using the user interaction data for the selected user interactions, a quantity of user interactions that are associated with each conversion and occurred during the conversion cycle for the conversion are determined. In turn, conversion path performance measures are computed and reports specifying the conversion path performance measures are generated.

  • Patent number: 11928055
Abstract: A system generating, using a first addressable unit address decoder, a first addressable unit address based on an input address, an interleaving factor, and a number of first addressable units. The system then generating, using an internal address decoder, an internal address based on the input address, the interleaving factor, and the number of first addressable units. Generating the internal address includes: determining a lower address value by extracting lower bits of the internal address, determining an upper address value by extracting upper bits of the internal address, and adding the lower address value to the upper address value to generate the internal address. Using an internal power-of-two address boundary decoder and the internal address, the system then generating a second addressable unit address, a third addressable unit address, a fourth addressable unit address, and a fifth addressable unit address.

  • Patent number: 11836096
Abstract: Described apparatuses and methods relate to a memory-flow control register for a memory system that may support a nondeterministic protocol. To help manage the flow of memory requests in a system, a memory device can include logic, such as a hardware register, that can store values indicative of a total number of memory requests that are serviceable by the memory device at a time. The logic can be configured by device manufacturers during assembly. The manufacturers can determine the limits or capabilities of the system, based on the components and structures, and publish the capabilities, including QoS, based on the limits. When the memory device is connected to a host, the host can read the values and limit the number of memory requests sent to the device based on the values. Accordingly, the memory-flow control register can improve latency and bandwidth in accessing a memory device over an interconnect.
