The weight of the speaker rests on a bottom surface of a base when in the first position having the vertical orientation or the second position having the angular orientation. The weight of the speaker rests on a side surface when in the third position having the horizontal orientation.

Abstract: A device for securing an object to a ceiling includes a threaded rod, a bracket and a spring-loaded tab. The spring-loaded tab has a tab portion with an outer surface. The tab portion is rotatable about an axis perpendicular to the threaded rod. When the device is attached to the object and the object moves into an opening in the ceiling for installation to the ceiling, the tab portion is urged from an extended position to enable the object to pass through the opening. Subsequently, the tab portion returns to its extended position such that the object can be temporarily supported by the tab within the ceiling opening. The bracket is configured so that during a removal process, a portion of the bracket urges the tab portion inward from the extended position to enable the object to be removed from the ceiling opening.

Abstract: A speaker includes a housing, a member secured to the housing, and a locking pin which passes through a first portion of the speaker. The member substantially covers at least two sides of the locking pin. The member thus provides some protection against the locking pin unintentionally coming into contact with another object. The member has two or more feet which are secured to the member and which can support the speaker on a substantially horizontal surface when the speaker is oriented such that the member is facing the surface.

Abstract: A stand that is adapted to support an upper loudspeaker cabinet relative to a lower loudspeaker cabinet. The stand has a first structure that is constructed and arranged to be directly coupled to a first portion of the lower loudspeaker cabinet in a stand stowed position wherein the stand is stowed on or in the lower loudspeaker cabinet, and a second structure that is constructed and arranged to be directly coupled to a second portion of the lower loudspeaker cabinet in a stand deployed position wherein the stand is supported by and extends above the lower loudspeaker cabinet. The stand is further constructed and arranged to support the upper loudspeaker cabinet when the stand is in the deployed position.
