  • Patent number: 8413352
Abstract: The club head cleaning attachment for a golf shoe is removably secured to a golf shoe to enable the shoe to be used in cleaning the head or face of a golf club during play. The device is formed of a flexible, resilient elastomeric material, and has a toe pocket fitting over the extreme forward end of the toe cap and sole of the shoe. Attachment straps or bands extend rearwardly to secure the device about the horizontal circumference of the shoe. The strap or band may be a continuous, endless component stretched to fit around the shoe, or may have mating first and second ends that secure to one another behind the heel. The toe pocket includes a cleaning element extending outwardly therefrom generally along the forward edge of the shoe sole. The cleaning element may be a non-woven web of plastic material, an absorbent cloth, or a brush.

  • Patent number: 6426684
Abstract: An electronic warfare system for detecting missiles which appear as points in an IR image. The system includes a point detect filter with two stages. The first stage produces a characteristic rabbit ear pattern in response to a pulse. The second stage produces a pulse in response to the rabbit ear pattern.

  • Patent number: 6097554
Abstract: The present invention is a derotation assembly comprised of a plurality of dove prisms with multiple reflecting surfaces, each with a normal axis intersecting a common rotation axis aligned orthogonally to an optical device. The reflecting surfaces are parallel to each other and orthogonal to the common rotation axis.

  • Patent number: 4193688
Abstract: An optical scanning system wherein infrared energy radiating from an object is directed to a Porro prism, such Porro prism being rotatable about the boresight axis of the optical scanning system so that the image of the object rotates, in the image plane of such system about its boresight axis, at an angular rate twice that of the Porro prism. A linear array of infrared detector elements is disposed in the image plane radially from the boresight axis of the scanning system. The angular deviation of the object from the boresight axis of the scanning system is measured by determining: (1) the angular position of the Porro prism when one, or more, of the infrared detector elements in the linear array is energized; and (2) which one, or ones, of such elements is energized.
