  • Publication number: 20220266678
Abstract: Some embodiments are directed to an electric hub drive with a braking assembly. The hub drive includes a housing; a rotary drive transmission system mounted within the housing; and a braking assembly positioned within the housing. The braking assembly includes a braking formation that is coupled to be rotationally driven by the rotary drive transmission system. Advantageously or preferably, the braking formation is coupled to be rotationally driven by a part of the rotary drive transmission system that has a higher angular velocity than the output shaft. This enables the braking formation to rotate at a faster speed than the wheel hub.

  • Patent number: 11424930
Abstract: Systems and methods for accessing account information are provided. For example, an indication to launch an application that may provide account information may be received. A determination may be made regarding whether the indication is an initial interaction with the application. If the indication is an initial interaction, one or more credentials may be received via an interface that may be displayed via the application. If the indication is not the initial interaction, a token may be accessed. A request that may include the credentials or token may then be generated and transmitted such that credentials or token may be used to authenticate a device that includes the application and a user thereof, a new token may be generated, and a response with the new token and/or account information may be transmitted. The account information may then be displayed by an interface of the application.

Abstract: The present disclosure pertains to a system configured to generate oxygen including a compressor configured to intake and pressurize gas, an oxygen separation unit comprising a first sieve bed, a second sieve bed, and an input receiving the stream of gas from an output of the compressor. The oxygen separation unit generates an oxygen flow by separating oxygen from the stream of gas. A membrane module in fluid connection with an output of the oxygen separation unit is configured to purify the oxygen flow generated by the oxygen separation unit. A valve arrangement is configured to direct, periodically, at least some of the oxygen flow from the membrane module through the sieve beds to purge the sieve beds with retentate gas and exhaust such retentate gas. One or more processors control the valve arrangement, so as to control the oxygen flow and purging of the sieve beds.

  • Patent number: 11412076
Abstract: Network access node virtual fabrics configured dynamically over an underlay network are described. A centralized controller, such as a software-defined networking (SDN) controller, of a packet switched network is configured to establish one or more virtual fabrics as overlay networks on top of the physical underlay network of the packet switched network. For example, the SDN controller may define multiple sets of two of more access nodes connected to the packet switched network, and the access nodes of a given one of the sets may use a new data transmission protocol, referred to generally herein as a fabric control protocol (FCP), to dynamically setup tunnels as a virtual fabric over the packet switched network. The FCP tunnels may include all or a subset of the parallel data paths through the packet switched network between the access nodes for a given virtual fabric.

  • Publication number: 20220235624
Abstract: An electro-hydraulic control system for actuating a control valve includes a control module. The control module is coupled to the surface via two hydraulic lines and an electrical power line. The control module uses one of the hydraulic lines as an “open” line and the other line as a “close” line. The control module includes a normally closed (NC) solenoid valve (SOV) that is coupled to the electrical power line and can be controlled from the surface to open or close. • Publication number: 20220235626
Abstract: An electro-hydraulic control system actuates a control valve. A control module is controlled via two hydraulic lines and two electrical power lines. The control module uses one of the hydraulic lines as a “supply” line and the other line as a “return” line. The control module includes two normally closed (NC) solenoid valves (SOVs) that are coupled to the electrical power lines and can be controlled from the surface to open or close. The opening or closing of the NC SOVs in cooperation with hydraulic pressure on a “supply” line of the hydraulic lines operates the control valve. A NC hydraulic activated pilot cartridge in the control module can be actuated open, and movement of the control valve in either direction can continue for a short time without energizing either of the NC SOVs, therefore lowering a power demand required by the system.
