  • Patent number: 8028556
Abstract: A key ring apparatus is designed to provide visual evidence of tampering. The key ring apparatus includes a main loop member having adjacent end portions with substantially equal diameters. The key ring apparatus also includes a hollow tubular sleeve that receives the main loop end portions, and is crimped into place thereon after keys have been placed on the main loop member. The tubular sleeve may have a pair of crimping indication indicators thereon, to show where to crimp the sleeve onto the main loop of the key ring apparatus. One or both of the main loop member and the sleeve may have a unique serial identification number thereon.

  • Patent number: 6029099
Abstract: A self-learning network with: (a) one or more sensor(s) in one or more sensor unit(s) with a plurality of memory cells that forward-select values of one or more intermediate variable(s) I.sub.1, J.sub.1, . . . according to their stored values and the conditions identified by its sensor(s) in a given sensing and action period, (b) with or without one or more intermediate units with a plurality of bidirectional memory cells that forward-select a value of one or more intermediate output variable(s) I.sub.2, J.sub.2, . . . according to their stored values and the value(s) of the intermediate input variable(s) I.sub.1, J.sub.1, . . . , and (c) one or more actuator(s) in one or more actuator unit(s) connected to one or more intermediate variable(s) I.sub.1, J.sub.1, . . . or I.sub.2, J.sub.2, . . . with a plurality of bidirectional memory cells that forward-select values of one or more actuators according to their stored values and the value(s) of its intermediate variable(s) I.sub.1, J.sub.1, . . . or I.sub.2, J.

  • Patent number: 5858011
Abstract: An absorbent article comprises a liquid permeable topsheet; a liquid impermeable backsheet joined to the topsheet; an absorbent core positioned between the topsheet and the backsheet; and a soft resilient member attached to the absorbent core or outside of the core which will preferentially deform, bend or lift in a predictable manner when lateral pressure is applied to the pad, wherein the resilient member consists of at least two distinct pieces of foam.
