  • Publication number: 20210128090
Abstract: A mobile diagnostic imaging system includes a battery system and charging system. The battery system is located in the rotating portion of the imaging system, and includes one or more battery packs comprising electrochemical cells. Each battery pack includes a control circuit that controls the state of charge of each electrochemical cell, and implements a control scheme that causes the electrochemical cells to have a similar charge state. The battery system communicates with a charging system on the non-rotating portion to terminate charge when one or more of the electrochemical cells reach a full state of charge. The imaging system also includes a docking system that electrically connects the charging system to the battery system during charging and temporarily electrically disconnects the rotating and non-rotating portions during imaging, and a drive mechanism for rotating the rotating portion relative to the non-rotating portion.

  • Publication number: 20210131542
Abstract: A position detection device configured for use with a locking differential is configured to determine a position of an armature in relation to a stator. The stator has a primary coil. The armature moves relative to the stator between engaged and disengaged positions corresponding to the locking differential being in a locked and unlocked state. The position detection device includes a secondary coil disposed proximate to the primary coil. The secondary coil is configured to determine a change in inductance based on movement of the armature. The change in inductance is indicative of a change in position of the armature relative to the stator.

  • Patent number: 10997203
Abstract: Synchronous content sharing of media assets via an object data model propagated through a star network or a mesh network. Each user device updates a local object data model including information on the status of the media asset delivery, to achieve synchronization with the source data. Updates to the local object data model may be the result of direct connection between a user device and an application server via a network, or the result of indirect connections through peers in mesh networks, where the local object data model is shared through hops between peers in the mesh network if the direct connection is unavailable.

  • Publication number: 20210102420
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a door seal system for top-hanging sliding doors. In some implementations, two angled mating surfaces are used, one angled surface on a fixed frame and one reversed angled surface on the slideable door panel. The slideable door panel slides directly parallel to the fixed door frame. A mating seal surface is created that is only in frictional contact for a small portion of the linear slide distance of the door panel. In some implementations, rather than placing two opposing angled seal surfaces, the sealing system has one angled surface on the fixed door frame. In such implementations, the sliding door panel is adjusted to be in a reverse angled orientation relative to the angled surface of the fixed door frame. Seal designs for the rear vertical edge of the slideable door panel are also provided herein.

  • Publication number: 20210086897
Abstract: An embodiment ofthe invention provides a method where retractable ducts or shrouds are extended over propeller(s) that are fixed in wing channels on an aircraft during takeoff and landing to increase flight safety and efficiency. Fully extending the duct or shroud during takeoff increases lift and upward thrust, while retracting the duct or shroud and stowing the duct or shroud inside of the wing during forward cruise decreases aircraft drag and increases lift. Duct or shroud extension during takeoff also enables critical safety and noise cancellation functionality. The method provided for safe and efficient takeoff can be applied in reverse order for safe and efficient landing.
