  • Publication number: 20090102129
Abstract: A shooting target system including a target including a material in which shock waves arise and propagate when hit by a projectile. A first shock sensor is arranged to detect the shock waves. At least a second shock sensor is arranged at a distance from the first shock sensor. A calculation module is configured to determine at least a first time-delay between the detections of the shock wave by the first and the at least second sensor, and to calculate information relating to the point of impact of the projectile in the target based on the at least first time-delay.

  • Publication number: 20080224410
Abstract: A target mechanism for shooting, including a base unit and a target body which is movably connected to the base unit. The base unit includes elements for moving the target body from a first position to a second position. The second position is an optional position based on at least a signal to the moving elements. A base unit in a target mechanism including elements for moving a target body from a first position to a second position. The base unit includes a control unit arranged to generate at least a signal to the elements for moving the target body to the second position based on the at least a signal.

  • Patent number: 7377517
Abstract: A target device for firing practice. At least one thermal target surface is heated by an electrically current passing through same. The thermal target surface includes a number of current coils arranged so as to conduct the current from a first area of the target surface to a second area. Each current coil includes current conductors disposed essentially in parallel with one another at a first distance from one another. The current conductors are connected to one another at their ends so that they form the current coil from the first area to the second area. Proximate current coils are mutually connected via bridges.

  • Publication number: 20070013137
Abstract: This invention comprises a target device for firing practice comprising at least one thermal target surface heated by an electrically current passing though same. The thermal target surface comprises a number of current coils (10) arranged so as to conduct the current from a first area (14) of the target surface to a second area (15). Each current coil (10) comprises current conductors (11) disposed essentially in parallel with one another at a first distance from one another. The current conductors (11) are connected to one another at their ends so that they form said current coil from the first area to the second area. Proximate current coils are mutually connected via bridges (13).
