  • Publication number: 20240133092
Abstract: A thermally bonded filtration media that can be used in high temperature conditions in the absence of any loss of fiber through thermal effects or mechanical impact on the fiber components is disclosed. The filter media can be manufactured and used in a filter unit or structure, can be placed in a stream of removable fluid, and can remove a particulate load from the mobile stream at an increased temperature range. The combination of bi-component fiber, other filter media fiber, and other filtration additives provides an improved filtration media having unique properties in high temperature, high performance applications.

  • Patent number: 7310790
Abstract: Processes for formal verification of circuits and other finite-state systems are disclosed. For one embodiment, a process is disclosed to provide for significantly reduced computation through automated symbolic indexing of a property assertion and to compute the satisfiability of the property assertion directly from a symbolic simulation of the indexed property assertion. For an alternative embodiment a process using indexed property assertions on a symbolic lattice domain to represent and verify properties, provides an efficient symbolic manipulation technique using binary decision diagrams (BDDs). Methods for computing symbolic simulations, and verifying satisfiability may be applicable with respect to property assertions that are symbolically indexed under specific disclosed conditions.

  • Patent number: 6539345
Abstract: The present invention is a method and apparatus to verify a design which has an input space and a predicate. The input space is decomposed into a plurality of decompositions. The input space includes a plurality of node variables. The plurality of decompositions includes parametric variables. The decompositions are parameterized into vectors of parametric functions to satisfy the predicate.

  • Patent number: 5345058
Abstract: A system for negating remnant magnetic fields in a weld joint between two workpieces includes a controller and an electromagnet with two feet that form the pole pieces. The electromagnet feet are formed with surfaces that provide a substantial area for magnetic flux coupling with each workpiece on either side of the weld joint. Inside and outside surface pairs on the electromagnet feet permit effective placement of the electromagnet on the outside or inside of right angle corners formed by two workpieces to be welded. The electromagnet feet may be rotatively connected to the core to accommodate various workpiece configurations. The controller includes an autotransformer and two separate manually operable current controls.

  • Patent number: 5191314
Abstract: A portable combination anti-theft lock and alarm to prevent the theft or displacement of protected property and comprising a housing, an audible alarm and alarm circuit located within the housing, and a flexible electrically conductive locking cable having a first end that is fixedly attached to the housing and an opposite free end which is detachably connected to the housing. The alarm circuit is adapted to activate the alarm and cause a loud warning signal to be emitted through the housing in the event that either the cable or the housing is vandalized by a thief in an effort to gain access to the protected property. More particularly, the alarm will be activated if the cable is either severed or jumped by a shunt wire. The alarm will also be activated if the housing is cut or a battery cover plate is removed from the housing without properly operating an associated lock assembly.
