  • Publication number: 20250154216
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to chimeric polypeptides and methods of use thereof. The chimeric polypeptides comprise an interleukin-2 (IL-2) peptide; an immunoglobulin peptide; and a TL1 A peptide. The fusion proteins disclosed herein are a major advance and combine both TL1A (the physiologic ligand of TNFRSF25) and IL-2 (the physiologic ligand of CD25). Such a fusion protein can prolong the half-life of IL-2 and allow lower TLI1 levels. Thus, the inventors generated an !L-2-1gG1-TL1A fusion protein and tested its efficacy in vitro and in vivo. In vitro findings demonstrated that both the TL1A and IL-2 FP subunits were functional.

  • Publication number: 20190247302
Abstract: The disclosure provides an ophthalmic formulation comprising a bromodomain inhibitor, a polar aprotic solvent (e.g., dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO)), polysorbate, salt, and Captisol, as well as a method of treating or preventing ophthalmic inflammation in a subject in need thereof comprising locally administering the formulation to the eye of the subject.

  • Patent number: 8239826
Abstract: An automation framework for automation of modular scripts based on a method for automating a script step in a modular script is provided. In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, the method comprises preparing a software environment for automation; performing one or more user actions on a software product executing on a computer system, the actions being representative of the script step that is to be automated, while the computer system records the user actions such that the modularity of the modular script is retained and the script step is automated; and providing user input to the computer system indicating that all the user actions have been performed. The modular script may be a modular test script prescribing test script steps that test a software product.

  • Patent number: 5596658
Abstract: Compression of a plurality of signal samples y(t.sub.0),y(t.sub.1),y(t.sub.2) . . . y(t.sub.z) may be accomplished by performing a first linear regression to obtain a curve fitted thereto which is represented by a polynomial having a first set of coefficients (a.sub.0,a.sub.1,a.sub.2,a.sub.3 . . . a.sub.n) which is stored in memory (18) or transmitted by a transmitter (20). The error between each of the actual signal samples (y(t.sub.0),y(t.sub.1),y(t.sub.2) . . . y(t.sub.z) and the value approximated by the curve fitted to the values is computed and then thresholded. A second regression analysis is then performed to fit a curve, having a second set of coefficients (b.sub.0,b.sub.1,b.sub.2,b.sub.3 . . . b.sub.q) to the thresholded error values. The second set of coefficients is also stored or transmitted and used, in conjunction with the first set of coefficients, to closely approximate the original set of signal samples.

  • Patent number: 5278509
Abstract: The state of charge of a rechargeable battery (12), such as those made from lithium, nickel-cadmium or metal hydrides, can be accurately determined by monitoring the rate of change of battery voltage over time (dv/dt), which parameter has empirically been found to change dramatically as the battery reaches complete discharge.

  • Patent number: 5263390
Abstract: A multi-fastener assembly tool (10, 10' and 10") for engaging at least one threaded fastener (14) for securing the fastener to a threaded stud (20) includes a member (26) having a fastener locating and holding mechanism (27) at one end. The fastener locating and holding mechanism is adapted to be squeezed through the fastener to retain it on the member. The member is seated within, and is springbased from, a circumferentially disposed socket (32) sized to engage the fastener. A shaft (42), having a handle (44) at one end, is integrated to the socket to allow a force to be applied to urge the socket against the member once the fastener locating and holding means are aligned with the stud. As the socket is urged against the member, the threaded fastener is seated in the socket and is then pushed off the member to the stud. Once the fasteners is at the stud, a rotational motion is imparted to the handle to thread the fastener onto the stud.

  • Patent number: 5190285
Abstract: An electronic game (10) is provided with at least one, and preferably a plurality, of intelligent game pieces (14,14' ) which each contain a re-programamble memory device (30,70). The memory device (30,70) in each of the game pieces (14 and 14', respectively), stores characteristics of an activity to be simulated by the game (10). By re-programming the game pieces (14,14'), the characteristics of the activity simulated by the game (10) can be changed to make the activity more interesting and challenging.
